“Great tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

The guided tour brought this building alive. The blue hall where the Nobel Prize banquet is held is better understand and appreciated if you do the tour. The golden hall and the ceiling of the council chambers are beautiful and well worth a visit.

“Not that great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

Had an amazing banquet from the mayor for International Students but overall, I did not find the place to be that awesome. I had expected Nobel Prize banquet venue to be audacious.

“Must-see in Stockholm!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

The guided tour inside the city hall was excellent. Not free but totally worth it. We were given an interesting account of the history and design rationale of the building, as well as details about the Nobel Prize banquet and the normal activities that take place there. The blue hall and golden hall are beautiful and grand. A fitting place for the prestigious Nobel Prize banquet.

“City Hall Tower”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2013

If you are claustrophobic the tower climb isn't a good idea.
The winding stone stairway is maybe only 5ft. wide. or less.
I'm young and in good shape. And getting to the top without stopping made me sweat a bit. But the view is spectacular to
see all of Stockholm below. The City Hall banquet hall was pretty cool too. Because it's where the Noble Prize dinner is held etc. This requires a separate entrance fee from the tower climb.
