It seems to be a Scandinavian 'thing' to put sculptors' life works all together on one large site, and it really does work, especially when its where they lived. The Milles museum is just wonderful. He captures the human form beautifully including younger subjects and his range is huge. Some of the sculptures look out over the water, some are in his old studio and some sit or squat by the many water features. A few have touches of eroticism too. This really is a museum for all, even as some previous reviewers have said, for those who think they dont love art. And its absolutely brilliant for kids too. Mine loved it. (The other extraordinary must-see Scandinavian sculpture park is the Vigeland in Oslo)
