“Kids love this place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

We met up with some relatives here and great time watching the kids hit the rides. Its not a Disneyland type park but more on par with a small Knot's Berry Farm type park. Typical park type food and fair. All in all a good time and a fun place to visit.

“Lovely place for a stroll on a beautiful day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

I was fortunate to have a free day during a business visit in mid September 2013 and the day was warm and sunny. I took advantage of the wonderful weather to walk to Djurgarden which in itself was enjoyable. The walk along the waterfront is very pleasant and provides opportunities for photos. Once at Djurgarden, I first headed for the Vasa Museum, which is a must. I will write separately about this. I then walked to the estate of Prince Eugen, which is called Waldemarsudde. This is a must stop for a visitor, as the estate and gardens are beautiful themselves while the setting and views from this location are among the best in all of Stockholm. I then walked to the Rosendal gardens which have some excellent representative flowers. One can also get around Djurgarden on the tram and visit many other museums, the amusement park and other sites. Once again...if you are in Stockholm on a beautiful day, don't miss Djurgarden.

“From funfair to nature.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

This island was only for the royals up until 20 yrs ago. Now this little gem is for everyone. From museum to funfair to mansions to unspoilt parks and woods and fab views overlooking the water, you've got it all. Rent bicycles and do it all. The whole city is just beautifull, and on bikes its the only way to go! Cheaper and more fun than hop on/off busses.
