Since I was arriving late at night I booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Arlanada Express (literally five minutes walk). I find Radisson's generally good, if a bit uninspired, but this is definitely one of their more interesting and stylish hotels.

The room was not huge but was very practical with standard facilities. Breakfast offered a wide choice and was very relaxed indeed. There is a great bar in the lobby which is always busy and where the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When we got back very late one night, after all the restaurants (except McDonalds) had closed, they promised us the best meat balls in Stockholm and I wouldn't argue with them! There's a roof top bar/restaurant but we couldn't get in.

This hotel located just by the Central Railwaystation in Stockholm is by no means a cheap place to stay at.
Location is ok, but staying near (almost) any central station in a big town has its ups and downsides.
The Arlanda express train stops just besides the hotel.

This hotel is quite expansive so you will come to expect all to be top notch. Well it isnt.

The facilities are 5 stars, they have everything you need. Wireless Internet, gym, pool, minibar, conferencefacilities etc etc etc.
The rooms differ in size but the room I was put in was quite large (familyroom) with a extra pulldown bed. The room was clean, fresh and looked good.
I did however see another roomcathegory and that room was alot smaller so watchout what you book.

The athmosphere was nice and checkin/checkout was a breeze.

Carparing at hotel was expensive at a a rate of 43 EUR for a night.

The only "real" complaint I can find is breakfast:
It costs approx 14 EUR (22 USD) and you get a very mediocre selection of bread, juices and absolutely no extras.
Where is that nice Swedish breakfast that Im so well aware of?
Look at almost any other hotel especially in this pricerange and you find loads of goodies to feast upon.
No, I truly hope someone reads the reviews and change the assortment on the breakfast because this has to be changed.

To sum things up:
Nice clean hotel located in the centre of Stockholm perfect for the businesspeople. Shame about the lousy breakfast.

This hotel should not be a 5 star hotel but any means. The worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms are small, facilities are expensive (breakfast, swimming pool, gym, sauna etc), location is central but trashy, furniture is trashy, breakfast is more like a canteen, food is or poor quality. There is nothing luxurious about this hotel and reminds me of a very poor 3 start hotel.

The building was impressive from the outside and centrally located. Entering inside, I found a modern, stylish lobby. That is where the charm of this hotel ended. I approached the counter, and was not acknowleged for a few moments by the attendant. When she finally greeted me, she pulled up my reservation for 1 person. I insisted I had book the reservation for 2 people, and they said unfortunately there was nothing they could do. They gave me a room with 2 twin beds. Does that make sense to give to a single traveler? We headed up to our room, and I was shocked at the interior. It could have easily been the inside of a motel in the U.S. The bathroom had a pump for the shower soap and shampoo, the towels were worn and hard to the touch. However when I noticed the large, disgusting stain on the curtains I called the lobby and pleaded for a different room. They told me the hotel was booked, and they could not change me. I was angry with the website I booked the hotel on since it claimed it was a 5 star hotel. I could not believe the audacity of the hotel or website to call themselves a hotel of this class. In reality, this hotel, apart from the lobby, would equate to a 3 start hotel in most of the world. My wife pointed out that the Swedish tourism authority gave this hotel a 5 star rating as well. If you are planning a nice stay, a lavish vacation, a honeymoon, or a pampered retreat, DO NOT STAY HERE!
