“Cannot beat its value for money!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Location:
- Hotel is conveniently situated literally right on top of the airport express train (accessible by elevator) and the Central Railway station (accessible by elevator and about a 5 minute walk via a very safe underground passage) with suburban and regional trains that take you to Oslo etc. The underground passage is fantastic in winter (when we travelled), as it buffers you from winter winds.
- Walking distance to Drottninggatan shopping street. We took a 5 minute bus ride to Old Town (Gamla Stan) (bus stop is on main Vasagatan road, a 2 minute walk from the Hotel). Would be a pleasant walk in summer/sunny days. Hotel staff very helpful in giving advice and directions.

Room:
- Obviously recently renovated with very clean and modern furniture and fittings.
- Very spacious bathroom (minor complaint is its shower floor is flushed with the rest of the bathroom so the rest of the bathroom can get very wet).
- Somewhat awkward bench space (behind the bed) and no wardrobe, just some hooks on the wall to hang maybe 3-4 items of clothing.

Breakfast buffet:
- This was included in the 75 euro per night)
- Fantastic food - Swedish smorgasboard of cheese, breads and meats, and the usual cereals, omelette etc.

Room Tip: We had a street-facing room (Kungsbron) with no complaints about noise from the street, windows are...

It's a business hotel, don't expect the chocolate on the pillow or the mint shampoo.
But the place is very centric and the price is very accesible.

Plus is the rocker decoration, with rock concert images and black and red designs.

The breakfast is fine.

I am giving this hotel a four * review, not because of the luxurious rooms and endless pampering treatments available in the spa,but because it's centrally located in a European capital city, clean, efficient, and cost me 50 GBP for one night.

I'm not sure I've stayed anywhere so cheaply, in a major 1st world city, but without being scared to close my eyes at night.

Yes the rooms are small, and the corridors can be confusing, but you are minutes from the train station, city centre, old town. There is no particularly reason to be hanging around in your room - but if you want a hotel that is relaxing and high-end, pay more and stay somewhere else.

For sightseeing, a long weekend, a stop-over, this place is perfect.

Situated smack on top of the Arlanda airport-express train, 100 metres from the bus terminal and 200 metres from the central station you cannot find a more conveniently placed hotel. The rooms are tiny but modern and well insulated (from the cold swedish winter as well as from any noise on the corridor). Our double room had en suite wc and shower, very new and clean. The hotel's atmosphere is youngish and business-like - it gets the job done. Our towels weren't changed during the 72 hours we were there.

Room Tip: not all rooms have windows many rooms are away from the street towards a court-yard

This hotel had a good price, considering its location. The location was extremely convenient, in a building directly above the airport express train (but it wasn't loud), within walking distance of the tourist information center, the main T-bana station, and the city's main attractions. The included buffet breakfast was also great for the price, especially since it provided some sandwich-makings for lunch. My room didn't have a window but I knew that going in and chose to have my own bathroom instead. I was also able to check in much earlier than advertised. Overall, it was a good option for a couple of nights and centrally located.

Room Tip: Be aware that some rooms don't have windows, you should be able to choose when booking.

I warmly recommend this hotel especially since it's location is awesome! The hotel rooms are tiny but the bed is comfy, the bathroom surprisingly spacious and everything is clean.

The staff is nice and smiley. We always got what we needed, so no problems there.

If you go for breakfast during a popular time you will find a huge queue. If you wake up early it's nice and fast and the foos is ok, too. We didn't take breakfast included so the other morning we had breakfast in Scandic on the other side of the road which was very good, however more expensive.

I will stay in this hotel again!

Got a good price for this Hotel, 100 € for two nights. Breakfast was not included, but that was good, becuase it turned out it was about 30 min queue to get the breakfast so we went across the street to another Hotel for breakfast. Comfort Hotel hasn't thought through the logistics of the breakfast, all the food is at one place in stead of spreading it out in the Restaurant.

The room was nice, good bed, tv and view of Kungsbron. The room was not that clean though, see the picture. Not that they don't have cleaners, it is just a question of lack of commitment from the cleaners to do a good job.

Room Tip: We had room 334 towards Kungsbron, which was nice.
