We had a great stay at the Hotel Globe at the end of a touring holiday around Sweden. Although the Globe is not in the center of town, the underground runs until late and the Globen stop is only 10 mins from the city center. Fab hotel, nice and modern rooms. The only complaint I had was the food at breakfast, but I did not enjoy Swedish cuisine for my entire trip so this is more a personal preference thing. The view over the globe center at breakfast more than made up for the food! There is a shopping center with some great shops and coffee bars and small cafes closeby. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

A really good hotel and, while in an out-of-town location, only a five minute walk from two metro stops, each only a short ride on the very reliable metro into central Stockholm or other destinations.

This large hotel is part of the Globe complex (used a lot for ice hockey in the winter, you had a view of the rink from some of the restaurant seats) has themed rooms, ours was very bit as clean, tidy and well-furnished as you would expect in Sweden. As usual in a standard room on the continent, we missed our kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, but you cannot have everthing.

Rooms were warm (they needed to be, it was minus 5c with added windchill while we were there) but with air-conditioning should it be needed in the summer.

The breakfasts were adequate, perhaps a little more variety would not have gone amiss.

Staff were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive throughout.

The free internet access at reception was also useful and reliable.

Central hotels have their advantages, but you usually pay for it. This was good value and we would happily stay here again in what is a lovely city.

We had a great time at this hotel! The pool and sauna were great as was the free internet in the lobby. Breakfasts were great and the rooms were a good size and comfortable. Not a central location but easy to get to central Stockholm from here. The turtles in the lobby were also great and my two young children spent much time watching and being entertained by them!

Stayed at the Globe Hotel for 2 nights in connection with a concert in Globen. Very nice and friendly staff, good restaurant and rooms are large and clean.
