Yes the Rex is "compact" but it's to a good standard, clean, tidy and quaint More character than your average Stockholm hotel and with a good breakfast! The little house looks fun! Its off the main street, in a quite area. Best was the bathroom, small but the shower was great and even has underfloor heating!

We spent 3 nights in Rex petit and our stay was perfect! The room is little with a bunk bed, but the down bed is big enough to fit 2 people. There is no window as the rooms are in the basement, but there is a well air conditioning system and some skylights in the corridor just outside the door. The en suite bathroom was little but well organized. All the furniture were new and comfortable.
The room is as tiny as a train sleeping car, so if you come back to the hotel just for sleep and you know each other very well it will be a smart and cheap solution.

The Rex petit is the little brother of Rex hotel, which is in the same building so all the services are 3 stars standard. The breakfast was very good with fresh bread and homemade marmalades and fresh fruits. There are all kind of breakfast beverages, yogurt and juices.

We have never had problem with the cleaning service and all the staff were very friendly and kind.

The location is just outside the center in an elegant neighborhood. It was really safe and the metro station is just around the corner (2 min walking distance). By the way we used to reach the city center by foot in 15 mins. It is a nice walking!

Our vacancy in Stockholm was perfect thanks to the hotel and to the amazing city!!

This is hotel where the rooms are more like capsules. If you're on business, there are nice cafeterias around for working and the breakfast is good. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. I probably would mot stay again though, as I like the privacy of a big desk in your own room.

Yes, this will be the smallest hotel room you've ever stayed in. But it is clean, including private bathroom and very efficient with the space. Breakfast is good. There is a free coffee machine in the foyer. Its attached to 2 other hotels in very close proximity and checking in after hours confused a few people. We were fine, but hanging around the front door while waiting for a friend I had to direct a few people, to reception in the sister hotel. A good price in an expensive city compared to other hotels around - you get what you pay for.

This does what it says on the tin - it's petite! The rooms are very small - the one we stayed in was similar to the one in the picture: a small double bed with a single bunk above it, meaning at a squeeze it can sleep 3 people. There was no window. There was a small ensuite with a toilet, sink and shower. But that's all that we needed, really - a place to sleep and use as a base to explore Stockholm. The price reflects that and I wish more hotels offered this choice.

There was a TV in the room, and good wi-fi reception (which was free). There were no complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was included in the price (continental style meat, cheese and bread) and free tea and coffee were available 24 hours a day. The staff were lovely and spoke excellent English. The location was good, a quiet street 2 minutes walk away from the subway and lots of bars and resaturants, and it's around a 15 minute walk to the centre of town.

I'd be happy to stay here again. It's a clean and pretty hotel that does exactly what I wanted. I'd recommend it for very good friends or couples who don't mind living in each others pockets for a few nights.

We were looking for a hotel with low cost and good location. We found it.

The rooms are small with one a bit bigger bed down and a single bed up. The bathroom was in scale with the room. Since there were not any windows in the room the street sounds did not disturbed.

The location is great with the metro one block away and with walking distance to the city center. The parking house Norra real is a few blocks away.

We enjoyed the scandinavian breakfast with the possibility to eat outside.

It seems fair to say that I have pretty heavily travelled the world, but every once in a while one finds a hotel that is in a way remarkable. The Rex Petit is one of those. The concept is brutally pragmatic: Acknowledging that one needs a hotel room primarily to get a good night's sleep, it abolishes such unnecessary items such as space or even a window. The "room" is a cell of, say, five square meters. If this sounds offputting, be reminded that in summer in Sweden, it can also be a good thing if there is no window around. The air is good. It is obviously very quiet. Staff is nice, and the hotel is otherwise also nicely furbished. Wireless internet functions well. I warmly recommend this place.
