We had made reservations for about 20 people for a friends surprise dinner on his birthday. The restaurant wanted us to decide what to eat about a week ahead and e-mail them the list, which is quite normal since there was so many of us. However when we got there the waiter told us that we should look at the menu and decide what we wanted to eat, because he assumed that we didn’t remember what we had preordered. Kind of unprofessional to blame the guests for their apparent mistake of misplacing the list.
All of the guests knew exactly what they had ordered and just repeated the same orders one more time on which the waiter explained that since we were a party of twenty people the dishes would not be served all at once and that some of the dishes would be delayed. Hello, purpose of preordering being???
The staff was quite untrained, unhappy and lacking of hospitality or, as I would call it, common sense.
The food was ok, but extremely bland and boring. The quality of both fish as well as meet was good, but felt vey lonely on the plate and I would say not price worthy at all. Price for comparison: turbot (se picture) $44.
