Markethalls and markets are a good measure of any city. Östermalms Saluhall is not a farmers' market rather than a celebration of culinary craftmanship and gourmet food. We highly recommend that you add this to your travel itinerary while in Stockholm. If you are renting an apartment, you can find ingredients for elaborate meals of your own, or you can either buy take-away (there is also a good Arabian-style take-out with high quality stuff) of dine at one of the restaurants. We had a good fish dinner here, although I slightly regret that I didn't try their various kinds of shellfish, which are usually good in Sweden. My fish was good but just not exactly my style of cooking - but for those who love French cooking, that would have been a bull's eye.
