5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

Excellent place to be, in the very middle of Sweden with good train connections to southeast and southwest Sweden. Although the hotel is a little far from the railway station there are some restaurants in the near vicinity. There is a nice bar. Nice big beds, which is part of the Ibis styles formula. Only the coffee during the breakfast could be a bit better.

We stayed for one night in this hotel since we were watching a local consert (Gyllene tider)in Jonkjoping. This hotel is very close to the consert hall and that was the reason we stayed there. Room is very tiny but towels, bedsheet and room are clean enough. Breakfast table was almost empty when we were there next morning, they did not fill up food before we asked for it. No bread,no plate,no paper...and no coffee. You can't believe, it was just 0815 in the morning.

The shower was very tight to stand inside after you close it...and the bathroom stinks. The smell made me feel unconfortable.

To stay one night there is ok. More than 2night...will definately stay somewhere else.

On our way back we have stayed in the Ibis Hotel in Jönköping, this as we are used to stay in that chain from hotels during our tour trough Sweden.
Nice hotel, the same hotel as we have got in Göteborg, nice staff, good breakfast a good room.
The only problem we had got was that we were told that they had that evening a group from 50 persons who arrived by coach, and that they had reserved the whole restaurant for that evening.
So in case we wanted to have our supper there, we only had place on the outdoor terrace.
After a small complaint on the desk, we have got our table into the restaurant, because it was cold outside and very windy.
The other morning the whole bus was already at 06h15 into the restaurant to have the breakfast, and where putting the entire luggage into the entrance so that you only could pass with a small trolley.
So this was our experience on an exceptional day.

We were searching for a clean place to sleep without paying a fortune, and this filled the bill. As others have written, the rooms are quite small, even by Swedish standards. However, the rooms were clean and quiet and the beds comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good but not outstanding. The only restaurants within walking distance are fast-food places; the motel is clearly aimed at folks travelling by car. All in all, a great value and I'd recommend it if you're just looking for a quiet clean place to sleep at affordable price.

Travelling with two small kids (a baby and a toddle) the room was a bit of a nightmare as it was sooo small; almost no space on either side of the bed. Since we only stayed for one evening and night so it served it's purpose as we were just driving throught Sweden on the E4 :)

Stayed in the hotel only for the night en route to Malmo. Kudos to the hotel for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and the staff at the reception were very approachable. We are Asians and we found the room fit for midgets! On the bright side, everything was within our reach from the bed. The shower area does not have screens so you will expect completely wet floors after showering -- which is a pain. Unfortunately, there was a group of students staying in the hotel at the same time and the non-soundproof walls only magnified their noise throughout the night.

I will recommend the hotel if you are looking for an accommodation for the night with bare necessities and only if you are driving.
