As the 18th birthday treat for one of our sons, who's a huge curry fan, we chose this establishment from various reviews and as well as third party recommendations. We went with quite high expectations but what a let-down.
The butter chicken was bland, oddly using coconut in the sauce (which was very 'chalky'). Our well-meaning waiter dissuaded me from the Daal Makhni, saying it was "made for the Swedish palate" and pointed us to the daal sambal which was mediocre and lacking in flavour!
Only the king prawn jalfrezi didn't disappoint, with a pleasant kick and nice, crispy peppers and onions. The free accompanying rice was clearly not prepared that evening, at least the naan (garlic and plain) were better.
I've had better Indian cuisine in Sweden before, Malmö included.
