“One of the best Park Inns I have stayed in”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Stayed at the Park Inn during Eurovision week and it was extremely busy but they seemed to cope well.

The hotel is situated about 15 mins walk from the centre in the new Western Harbour area. The surrounding area is still being developed but the hotel is close to the Turning Torso and the waterfront. There is a frequent bus service to the city centre and also a large supermarket opposite.

The room was spacious with a good sized bed. The mattress was very comfortable and the pillows ok. The windows open which was good as the air conditioning wasn't great. Ice machine on each floor.

Breakfast had a good choice. Again, given the hotel was full, they coped well with keeping everything replenished and there was a good choice.

Only issue during the stay was the cleaning of the room one day - I had asked for the bedding to be changed and it wasn't.

I wasn't looking forward to the stay as my previous stays at other Park Inns were not comfortable but his hotel has changed my view!

A good choice of hotel in Malmo.

This is a modern hotel, it is clean, stylish (in a chain hotel sort of way). It suffers from the Radisson problem of no place to hang more than a couple of shirts and a suit.
It has some staff that really need to learn the art of customer service - and others who go the extra mile.
It was OK, the true test is, if I came to Malmo again, would I try to stay here..... no I wouldn't.

The only memorable event was the way the staff said we couldn't eat in the hotel, because the restaurant was full - despite there being around 50 empty seats the other side of a curtain, and loads in the bar area....... the situation was saved by the reception manager - he found us a place in the bar area... and we ate and drank till late.

Stayed in the hotel with my wife and 2 young children. It was very convenient and the service of the staff was excellent.
They charged 15 euro to park jn the garage but you can also leave your car outside.
Overall a good hotel.

Stayed here just for one night in business trip. Very nice hotel, very modern, very nice views to the Torso Tower or the sea. The room is very comfortable, with the floor in the bathroom heated, which is very nice when is snowing outside...
The staff on the front desk try to help as much as you need...
Short walk to the centre: 10 to 15 minutes.

Park Inn is a kind of somewhat poor little brother in the Rezidor family. For a short stay it’s though a good alternative. I stayed in this hotel several times and in general satisfied with it. Just one thing which (to me) seems to be an exaggeration is the advertising of some room with “sea view. You can definitely see some sea from your room – but hardly those few square inches is enough to proclaim the “sea view”. Quite funny – and unmotivated – concept with “business friendly room”. The table is definitely not for long work due to its size. Can be hard to seat at it for more than let’s say 20 min. The location is far from central, be sure to study the local transportation system to be able to travel – or have a car, much more practical.

Excellent Australian gentleman on front desk , helpful and professional. Like previous reviews have said is just about walkable from train station. Just head for the huge turning statue. Very modern and many rooms have superb views of Oreslund Bridge.

The Park Inn is a perfect choice if you, as we did, travel by car. Easy access and easy parking beneath the hotel. We felt very welcome at the front desk and that means a lot for the over all feeling at a hotel. It is strange that many hoteliers seems to forget this fact... But not at The Park Inn, the staff was all very kind and helpful.

The hotel is modern and has a airy, fresh atmosphere. The room was well appointed and very clean. Beds comfy and the bathroom was relatively large. Big windows gave an open feeling to the room and the tea and coffe set was appreciated. We slept very undisturbed and well. Breakfast was plentiful and of high quality, the restaurant filled with morning sunlight made the appetite even better.

Checkout was a bliss, easy and as friendly as our check in. I even got to borrow some hair wax from the front desk gentleman as my hair was a rats nest with my hair grooming kit left at home. Thats service and care for the client!
