My partner and I went to 'Les Jardins' for lunch on 21st April. we had actually driven to Bouzigues to see whether our favourite restaurant was open, but as it was closed, we happened across this restaurant by chance.
We arrived, without a booking at 12.15pm on a Saturday lunchtime and were lucky to get a table for two - the restaurant was almost fully booked and, by 1pm, the whole restaurant was buzzing with a fantastic atmosphere. Signs at the restaurant showed that shell fish was brought in severla times per day. The provenance is incredible - as this restaurant is also a producteur of shell fish.
My partner and I both chose Oysters Gratinee to start and I chose the plat de jour (Carbonnade of Turbot), while my better half ordered grilled John Dory, Both of us were delighted with our choices.
There is a note of caution, the restaurant is quite expensive, compared to other restaurants in the area (up to 90 Euros for some, large, fish), but it is definitely an experience we would repeat.
