“Delicious traditional Danish food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

Really enjoyed the innovative open sandwiches. Some interesting combinations of fish or meat, with various dressings. Very friendly service.

“Great traditional Danish food, with a pretty twist.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

We loved these boards which made a wonderful lunch. The traditional herring dishes were great, and the 'shooting star' fried fish was wonderful. Tartare also lovely and all was well presented. Staff were attentive and efficient.

“Lovely food but rude staff.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

It's true that the food here is lovely, but it is overpriced ,both food and wine. A male member of staff was particularly rude. There are plenty of better, cheaper places to eat in Copenhagen.

“Creative & delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Went here as part of a "Copenhagen Food Tour" - we got to sample 4 small portions of their open-faced sandwiches. What they prepare is delicious and fresh, artistically presented and each sandwich is a taste creation - unique twists on a Danish classic. Highly recommended!

“Excellent, original yet innovative”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

As a native Dane I was craving for traditional Danish food returning to my home country for the first time in 9 years. After a couple of less than perfect restaurant visits it all came together when I visited Aamann's.

This is bar far the best traditional Danish lunch I have ever had! Created with respect of tradition but with a innovative eye and a impeccable level of quality this was in short; exquisite!

The herring, of which I've been dreaming for the 9 years of absence, was perfect in taste, texture and visual presentation. None the less.
The tartar was innovative and arranged in what I understand as the New Nordic style. Funky yet old school. And best of all; Great tasting!

Beer were local, boutique and great. The snaps (aquavit) of similar high standard. It came recommended by a insightful and polite waiter who eas never absent, never too much.

I'll be back!
