The food revolution in Copenhagen stresses local sustainability, using only products from Denmark. I was wondering of "fake" mashed potatoes was on their list. The high rating on Trip Advisor is correct with their description(s) of this cosy, underground restaurant. Food was excellent, atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff was more than accommodating. Portions were large, I had the Puk stew with......you guessed it, Mashed Potatoes. The stew was good, nice pieces of pork and sausages (cut, thin, hot dogs) with mushrooms and peppers in a paprika sauce. It was good, the hot dog (sausage) was not what I expected in a dinner of this caliber. My partner had the weinerschnitzel, it was very tasty, not over greasy, excellent gravy. Fresh peas and cut potatoes (the real kind) accompanied the meal. Overall, an excellent stop, but why, why, why skimp on the potatoes?
