We had dinner here in September 2012. I made reservations on beforehand, and the place was packed when we arrived. This is a rather small and loud restaurant, but with a definite up-market feel. Our table was tiny and offered privacy only because we were the only Dutch-speaking clients. Wine list is enviable, with a mouthwatering choice of top Burgundies for those interested. Blanc de Blancs Champagne was vinous and delicious, and set the tone for a memorable meal that consisted of equally-sized dishes (3 to 4 each) that combined exact cooking, outstanding flavours, rich ingredients (turbot, lobster, caviar, langoustines,...) and beautiful presentation. Foodwise this restaurant was nothing short of impressive, but unfortunately we were seated right under the aircon, with a steady flow of cool air breezing in our neck. This might sound refreshing, but we found it really bothersome and mentioned it to our waitress. She did not act upon it, and when other tables started to clear, I had to ask to be seated elsewhere. This was agreed upon but not wholeheartedly, and subsequently they let us wait almost an hour before taking our desert order. Because of this lack of client-friendliness, we decided not to tip, and shortly after we were to find our own coats and then hearing the front door slam in our back! Oops!
