“Perfect Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

I stayed in this hotel for three nights at the beginning of September and it was exactly what was required. Yes the rooms are small but realistically I was only going there to sleep/shower/maybe a little mid afternoon nap so really it was all the room I needed. Yes the rooms are hot but open the window and magically it cools the rooms down! It was literally minutes walk from Central Station, Tivoli, Stroget and just over the bridge from Christianshavn. You can walk to Nyhavn in about 10 minutes and can get on one of the brilliant canal tours just round the corner. The rooms are very clean and modern and the staff are very nice, polite and informative. It wasn't the cheapest hotel i've ever stayed in but for Copenhagen it was a bargain and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We had a city break in Copenhagen and this was a fantastic place to stay. The hotel rooms are clean and very tasteful, great value for money in an expensive city, with really friendly, polite and helpful staff. The hotel is close to the main station (exit via the bridge and it's a five min walk around the corner). It's also very close to Tivoli Park and the National Museum and other attractions.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the location and standard of accommodation. The shower is like a wet room in the bathroom, but it dries very quickly and wasn't a problem at all.

Very enjoyable stay in a great city and this was a great base.

Room Tip: All rooms are probably fairly quiet.

This hotel is a budget hotel so clean and has a very good location near central station. The price I paid wasn't really cheap, I paid less in different cities and had breakfast included. Checking in time was at 3:00pm. I was tired and receptionist didn't give me room earlier. No breakfast included. Beds are so small and uncomfortable for big people like me.

As the name of the hotel suggests the rooms are small cabins. the location is very good, just behind Tivoli, short walk from main train station (15 mins to airport) next to Glypotek, 5 mins from Stroget etc etc
Room was clean and comfortable and all we needed. The shower was good - toiletries supplied.

Tea & coffee available in room but breakfast was an expensive extra which we skipped and bought pastries from the 7-11 at the beginning of Stroget. Internet worked well and sky news available on the TV.

Copenhagen can be done on a budget ! :)

While the location is excellent (5 minutes from Tivoli gardens) the hotel is very basic. Firstly the standard rooms have bunk beds!! This may be acceptable for some but quite a shock if you aren't expecting it. The room is also compact and tiny with a wet room instead of a proper shower literally over the toilet. Also the hotel does not have any air con and the windows hardly open. Positives of the hotel include- complimentary tea/ coffee in the room, free wifi and great location. This is definitely a place for someone on a budget and if you just want to spend minimal time in the room.

The location of this hotel could not be better if your intention is a short break. Five minutes from the central station and also an easy walk to many of the main Tourist sites. Commodore rooms are compact but adequate. Location on a street one back from the main road so reasonably quiet. Comfortable double bed, efficient shower, kettle, decent Wifi. Breakfast buffet was basic but plentiful and good value. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to move into our room on arrival at 11am.

Room Tip: Newly refurbished double bed rooms are worth asking for.

Cabinn city is located about 5 mins from the.central station in copenhagen which makes it very convenient as a base to explore the city. Given that this city doesnt come cheap, the price charged by this hotel is resonable. The room is tiny, with a single bunk bed. Interestingly a steel ladder is attached to the wall to help the occupant climb up. The bathroom is the size of a wardrobe but it is functional for a short stay with a shower n toilet. The walls are pretty thin, i could hear next door neighbours.
