“I really suggest it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

During my days in Copenhagen I have been to eat at this restaurant. the staff is really nice, and the food was delicious. I took as a starter a dish with a pie dish of chicken and foie gras, plus some vegetable with raisin in mustard. it was absolutely ossom!
Then I order a rib-eye served with mustard and some particular spice, plus the potatoes. The real good thing is that the souse is served separately in a small pan, then you can choose ot put on it or not.
Lastly a rich chocolate cake with ice cream and raisin.

Also my wife was nicely amazed about all dishes. Spring roll as a started and white fish as a main dish.

The price is within the average (around 60 Euro per person), wine excluded

“So GOOOOOOOOOD”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Ask for a table in the large room at the end of the restaurant. This is where all the guests are and the nice ambience.

The food is great, tasty and portion size are large (for Denmark, but not America size).

The service is very professional and attentive. Very suitable for romance, business and larger groups.

“Not worth it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Rickety table. Bottle of wine starting at 300dkk. Desserts arriving 30 mins apart and they charge for tap water! Food OK.

“Kogt - avoid!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Very disappointing dining experience in a city full of high quality restaurants. Wine waiter said the wine I wanted was not available and offered me a 'special' from the 'cellar' for the same price. It was the last bit from a long opened bottle and probably cost less for the bottle than I paid for the glass. 'Tempura' prawns were covered in batter which no Japanese chef would, even on pain of death, call tempura - the worst type of heavy batter possible, all of which I left on the plate. I was served 2 prawns for US$21 - probably more than is charged at Noma! What annoyed me even more was that the Danish lady at the next table was given 3 prawns. Obviously a place where ripping off tourists is encouraged, since my bill included 'fresh water' for US$7 - despite not even being offered water throughout the evening, and the fact that Danish tap water is what is served as 'fresh water'. The waitress sounded surprised that I had not had water. While I didn't have it, a steak (with various trimmings) costs US$40 here.
I left as soon as possibly could. Avoid.
