“Odd a times but well put together”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012 via mobile

Display tells the story of Hans Christian Andersen's life and works. There are displays that read you the main stories with some nice displays portraying what is happening. It has enough information and displays to be interesting, but isn't an extremely long experience. Great especially for kids.

“Tacky”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012 via mobile

Very, very tacky! Only went in because it was free on our Copenhagen card. Definitely not worth paying for.

“Great attraction, especially for children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2012

This is a brilliant attraction if you have children interested in fairy tales. As you walk through the maze you come across numerous displays of fairy tales, and on pressing a button, the tale is read to you in the language of your choosing. We loved it and would have loved to have taken our children to something like this when they were younger.

“Nice enough in a Disney way, nothing authentic but don't bother with the Ripley Collection that is part of the 'museum'.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2011

The Hans Christian Anderson part of this was passable in a plastic Disney kind of way, although the English was riddled with mistakes. However the "Believe it or not Ripley Collection next door was just ghastly. They pressure you into buying a ticket when you arrive. As if the shrunken heads, bearded ladies and tallest man freak show wasn't enough there's a whole gallery devoted to torture. Do we really consider torture wholesome fun for the family. Teenage boys might like it but I'm not sure I'd want to encourage them.

“Disappointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2011

We purchased the Copenhagen Card and this was one of the free attractions. The tour was very disappointing and I would recommend that you skip. It is a self guided tour and you are suppose to be able to listen to a couple of fairy tales. Two of the four fairy tale stories did not work. This tour is really not worth the time or effort.
