“Impeccable !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

When visiting a new destination it's always worthwhile researching place to enjoy and experience restaurant Radio comfortably fits into the " Don't miss it category ". Outstanding value too for cooking of this calibre. The five course dinner is magnificent, my first course of seared scallops with ribbons of asparagus with a delicate warm yoghurt coating with a rye crunch was a pure joy. My intermediate course was even better. New potatoes sliced thin and cooked al-dente with crunchy onions, chive blossom, and a foam made from a cheese where the cow had grazed on hay was sublime ! The desert I will remember forever, a milk ice-cream with a sensational combination of beetroot , rhubarb, honeycomb chocolate, chocolate pieces was a revelation that made one smile the entire evening. Great service too the Danes are lovely people with a great attitude.

“Five stars is (nearly) not enough”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013 via mobile

Such unanimous praise creates high expectations which can sometimes lead to disappointment. But for once I can do nothing but concur with all the superlatives and almost hyperbole provided by my fellow reviewers. Radio is a fantastic restaurant serving superb Scandinavian food in the friendliest of manners. The set menu formula (three or five courses) works very well, and the wine menu was very enjoyable, too. Book in advance. The best money I've spent in a while.

“Disappointing. Particularly after all the amazing reviews.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

My wife and I visited Radio while recently visiting Copenhagen for the weekend.

The service was great. The staff were pleasant and helpful. But the food was what really let us down. Every dish was very salty, and the value just wasn't there.

We went for the 5 course meal, for 400 DKK each. Wine pairings was another 400 DKK. So not an inexpensive experience.

Dinner started with tiny overcooked scallops. Then was salted cod, which was excessively salty. Then fennel, with a charred taste. And veal, which was overcooked. Admittedly, the dessert was quite nice, but I was amazed that I wasn't blown away by at least one of the previous dishes.

So my wife and i are the only outliers. Everyone else seems thrilled with this place. So give it a try. Maybe it was an off night. It was a Monday. But it certainly did not live up to expectations.

“Worthy of a Michelin star”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Thanks to all the Trip Advisor comments, we decided to give Restaurant Radio a go. Are we glad we did! The food is just stunning! Every dish seemed to reflect Danish/Nordic cuisine but with a fresh, creative and modern twist. And every dish was filled with fresh seasonal vegetables. The bread is to die for. Everyone spoke enough English that we knew what we were eating! The head waiter had a great sense of humour and managed to find time to share a couple of stories and even let us peek into the kitchen to thank the chef for a great meal.
A very unassuming, casual restaurant that has great ambiance, fun and professional service, and fantastic food. Oh, and they actually serve the dishes at a good pace so you don't have to wait an hour in between each course (like at most Michelin restaurants)! :)

“Super Lunchtime”

Perfecto in and out. Missing the words for the food, it was so good. Wine suggestions perfect also. There is a reason for why this resturant recives a very good rating....
