I miss the hostel I had been staying at! This was a one night stay, on my way back home to Cali. I left Copenhagen to go to Norway for a few days and the previous, great hostel had no rooms abailable and I didn't have much money left from Norway. It was cheaper per night, but you had to pay for thread bare linens. I got to the Womens dorm and it was cramped with 6 old, creaky bunks with thin mattresses and a very thin quilt. The room was hot, but if you opened the window, it was open to the street, just bellow street level and someone could get in. Not very safe since it was not screened or bared. The shower was shared with several rooms and it had mold and you had to hold the soap filmed shower head since the holder was broken. The rack inside the shower had rust. I used the sink in the toilet room instead. There were enough toilet rooms at least. The breakfast was suggested by my young roomate since it was all you can eat for a very reasonable price. This was the 1rst less than top quality food I had in Copenhagen. Yogurt, cereals, rye bread, and cheese all tasted of poor quality and I didn't finish any of it. There were also pork products, some sort of pâté, and cookies that I past on. A few more DK's and I could have gotten a good pastry or something from a bakery. Mid morning, I was airport bound. I just wish this wasn't my last impression of Copenhagen.
