“Good hostel, with a good vibe and in a very nice area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

This is a good hostel to stay at if you want to take in a bit more of the city center. It is located in a very nice, multicultural area of copenhagen, which makes a good starting point to visit the city. The hostel looks new and well maintained. Facilities are clean, beds are comfortable and there is a nice gathering area with a good bar, cheap beer and happy hour. A great place to meet other travellers. Staff were nice, but I wish they had been a bit more involved with the hostel life, as they did not seem very passionate about who was visiting, why and how to make the experience great for them - which is something that often makes the difference.

I consider this to be an average hostel, no real annoyances but also nothing I would eagerly reccomend. They have three-level beds, maybe not so comfortable. It is a bit annoying that they do not have a kitchen and also that one is not allowed to bring own alcohol (it is no problem to BUY alcohol in the hostel, more expensive as in the supermarket of course).
During high season in Copenhagen one should book in advance, I was lucky to be able to book the probably last bed in copenhagen the day before arrival.

Stayed in the deluxe 6 bed mixed dorm. Very friendly staff, helpful in explaining how to get to the room (involves a short walk about 20m down the street from where the office is).
Room was surprisingly large with a good amount of space. Each bed had a locker which was opened by keycard, and contained your linen for the bed.
Didn't have any late night noise issues, but plenty of screaming children in the morning from the neighbourhood.
Main downside was not enough toilets/showers, so the wait in the morning was significant.
Otherwise a lovely place to stay.

The hostel is pretty far from the center, at least 2 km, so be prepared if you're going to visit the city by walking. The best part of this hostel was the atmosphere at all, receptionist and people are really warm and friendly; the room was too small for 12 persons and was really hot. There's no kitchen so you have to eat outside, but if you pay there's breakfast which looked pretty good. Bathroom are clean as the whole building, if I'll come back to Copenhagen and I'll be looking for a cheap but decent accomodation I'll come back :)

Such a lovely little hostel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the decoration is nice with all the sheep and different coulours, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. I stayed there two times with a friend, first time in a six-bed-dorm and second time in a four-bed-ladies-dorm and both times we had a good time there. The staff told us the best places to be in Copenhagen and helped us with all the little questions we had. The breakfast is okay, there is a buffet with everything you need but also not too much! the only thing that suprised us is the lacking kitchen.
The Hostel is located in a multicultural quarter of Copenhagen (Norrebro) and you can either walk to the city center which takes about 15 minutes or go by bus. There are different shops around, so you don't have to do a long walk till you can do some groceries.
There is a very warm and welcome atmosphere and you can stay there with friends or family, get to know other people and have a real good time!

This place was nice. It was quiet and the staff was very nice. The rooms were small but everything was clean. Happy hour is great- 2 beers for the price of 1- but it's only 1 hour every night. I wish it had been 2 hours, but if that's my worst complaint then.... :) The only thing I recommend is to make sure you have the directions figured out because there are a lot of 7-11's and the bus driver had no idea what the streets on her stop were. I had a hard time figuring out where this place was. Other than that, I had a very nice stay here.

The hostel is well located and staff is extremely friendly! It provides lots of services, incluiding a nice breakfast! Also the common area is great for socializing, which is specially good when travelling alone.
The distance from downtown is not a big deal, but cannot be forgoten. It is quite a walk to central station and downtown. The neighbourhood, though, has many bars and supermarkets around.
The rooms are good and clean, but they are REALLY small! At least the room I was in fit 6 people in a 3m x 4m room! There is no overhead light in the beds and not enought plugs to charge cell phones and cameras (I found 3 plugs in the entire room), and there is not space enought for more then one person open his bag at the same time. When I got there with my friend, it was really late. We needed to put pijamas on, but we had to open out bags outside the room, in the corridor, which is not really confortable.
The bathroom is OK, not the most clean thing in the world, but pretty acceptable.
Finally, the biggest downturn, there is no kitchen availiable in the hostel! Not even a refrigerator. tsc tsc... Makes the trip a lot more expensive.
Talking about expenses, the hostel is very friendly and fun, has lots of possible services but it charges for EVERYTHING! I needed an adaptor for my camera recharger, they sold me one for 20DKK.
