“So much choice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

This was a wonderful little bakery and priced fairly well compared to some of the places nearer the Stroget or Nyhaven. A Danish breakfast was 55,- or about £6 and consisted of a bread roll with cheese and jam and a cup of tea or coffee and is served until 10am and is more filling than it sounds.
There is a wonderful array of cakes and pastries to choose from and staff are more than happy to tell you what everything is. Really delicious and always seems popular with locals and tourists.

My wife and I stopped by this bakery on our way to Tivoli Gardens, and truly enjoyed a Danish danish!! The staff were very friendly and the coffee was good and strong. Worth visiting!!

“Fantastic bakery & café by train station”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Andersen Bakery is conveniently located around the corner from the Tivoli and right across the street from the Copenhagen train station, so we ended up going here a few times for some snacks to go. They have a lovely assortment of pastries, breads, cakes and sandwiches. We recommend the smoked salmon sandwich (it was huge and so filling) and the fruit tarts! Service was always with a smile.

“Danishes and polsers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

A nice find on the side of the Tivoli gardens. It's on the right side if you face the entrance of Tivoli. Good breakfast choice if you want to visit Tivoli and want a change from the hotel breakfast. I tried a snekt - a snail like pastry like a cinnamon bun but with a chocolate coating. They also serve a nice hot dog - polser, from 11 am onwards. It's topped with fried onions, raw onions, beet root, pickle, mayo, ketchup and mustard on a whole wheat bun. Yummy !
