“very good position and nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2011

We had a very nice 2-days stay in this hotel: it is really closed to the Central Station and to the city center, so you can get to the main attaction in a very short time.
Rooms are nice (we had two triple rooms for 6 persons) and confrotable, with two windows and a nice bathroom; maybe it would be better to have fans in the bathroom.
the receprion is 24/7, and the breakfast is good, even if there is not so much choice for sweet items: there are maily salted bites.

Picked this hotel as the pictures and reviews made it sound good. Upon arriving liked the court yard entrance, but once inside found it all very disappointing. The life had seen better days, and the corridor to the room was long and boring. The room could do with updating and the bathroom was horrible, it took ages for the toilet to flush and i didnt feel clean when i used the shower. I felt like i was staying in a youth hostel, and the breakfast was also a let down, with no hot choices, very disappointed, only nice thing was the night manager who was from Wales and was lovely.

Room Tip: No curtains/blinds so everyone opposite could look into the room, try picking one at the back.

If you want a non expensive, clean hotel with great location. Stay here!

Great service in breakfast area. Simple, but good breakfast. Fresh cheese, ham, fruit, eggs etc. Coffe with hot milk and good pastries. They could do something with the interior in breakfast area so it would match the rest of the hotel.

Lobby - a lot of different people work there so there is not very personal service. But they did help us well wen we needed something.

The room - big, clean, very comfortable bed. We had superior room for three persons and had enough space. One large double bed and one extra (that one comfortable as well). The room facing the street, Vesterbrogade is a big street with lots of traffic and friday night it was a lot of partysound too. But all in all we slept well all the nights. Bathroom is simple but with great shower with very good water pressure.

Location is very nice. Long enough distance from the dodgy red light district but still in walking distance to everything! Istedgade is very close and there you have a lot of realy nice stores and cafes.

The best thing with this hotel is the very nice entrance in the backyard with places to sit outside. There are actually two places to sit outside for your coffee, to read a book or just relax. And i have to mention the comfortable bed once more!
The least i liked with Copenhagen Crown is the interior of breakfast area. It has a lot of potensial. It is on 5th floor with nice rooftop view. Some new furnitures and some candl lights on the table would have done a lot.

Me and my best friend had our annual shopping trip, and this time we went to wonderful Copenhagen! I chose this hotel as it was presented in a package deal from the ferry line DFDS.

I read some negative responses here on tripadvisor, and was a little bit nervous before going. But on the other hand, a big reliable company such as DFDS would not present a hotel if it was terrible? That's my argument anyway ;)

We arrived early at the hotel (about 1030 in the morning) and the room was already ready for us. We got a room on the third floor, 3003, and it was great! It overlooked the backyard and was spacious and very nice. The room was with to twin beds, a desk and a tv with cable. Excellent for two girls loving tv :):)

The bathroom was also big, a good shower and a small sink in green :) The beds were comfortable and again I have to say the room was large. I don't know why some say it's so small?? Maybe there are different sizes on the rooms, but we were pleased with ours. And besides, on a shopping trip like ours - all we were going to do there was sleep.

The personell in the reception was very serviceminded and always met ut with a smile. They gave good information on what to do, and how to travel around.

the breakfast was good. When we were there the bread was fresh and we had a good breakfast :):)

The location was also perfect. We arrived with train (because of cycling championship the shuttle bus did not go into city centre) and after a bit running around being confused we found that the hotel was only 5 min walk from Copenhagen central station, and about 10 min walk from famous Strøget (the main shopping street). There were also some shops around the hotel.

All in all I think this was a great hotel, and have already recomended it to my friends :):)

I'm stay in the hotel after 15 august, it is a very good place..a very good hotel..near the center of the city, near the train station, near the tivoli garden..it is very confortable and the staff is very nice. There are peolpe that speak english, danish, italian.. free internet in the hall and a room breakfast at the top of the hotel that is very very nice. The room are small but there is all of confort.

My husband and I booked the Savoy Hotel in Copenhagen to stay for a night before leaving on a Baltic Cruise. We chose the Savoy carefully (based on the Trip Advisor reviews). When we arrived at the Savoy (exhausted from a long trip from Seattle) we were not happy to learn that we had been moved across the street to the Copenhagen Crown Hotel due to overbooking at the Savoy. Thankfully our stay at the Crown turned out to be excellent. The staff were pleasant - they had a room ready for us even though it was around 11 a.m. when we arrived looking to check in. Although small, the room was comfortable and certainly clean and quiet. The Hotel itself also reasonably well located - walking distance from Tivoli Gardens and the "tourist areas" of town. The breakfast (and it really is a bargain to get breakfast included in Copenhagen which is a very expensive city) was really good with a variety of options - mostly cold - but plentiful. My only complaint is that the coffee was terrible (not brewed fresh - it came out of a kind of vending machine). All in all, I would stay here again if I was returning to Cpenhagen.

Good location, not far from railway station. Rooms quite small but ok, some bathrooms a bit shabby. Some check-out hickups due to computer not working. General warning in Copenhagen about polluted water but hotel offered no water for free - they assured this part of city was ok.
Wifi worked ok; i would recommend this for private trips rather than for business.
