“Good location, no complaints”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

Good location, average rooms, stayed in room overlooking courtyard, was nice and quiet, front desk staff were nice. Hotel was not as bad as I feared having read previous reviews on this site. Beds are ok, room size is ok.

Room Tip: Request room at back overlooking courtyard

The location was awesome, The place was well maintained except for the bathrooms. They stink quite a bit and the rooms seem to be age old. The chairs were stained and seemed like they have kept the furniture from about 50 odd years..!!! The breakfast spread is good, but it is always crowded and there is a wait before u can find a place to sit and eat breakfast at leisure..!! They badly need to renovate their rooms and make sure the stinky smell doesn't remain.

The location is great, its only a very short walk to the center city. Service was pretty good the couple of times we went to reception but we saw some very long lines there in the morning when people were trying to checkout.

Breakfast is ok, nothing too exciting but probably above average.

Our room was very average, the room smelt really badly, the bed was soft and lumpy and the shower was poor.

I stayed here several times, on each occasion, overcrowded, resulting in waiting in line for breakfast, which is of a poor quality to start with. Rooms are small, beds ok. Location is on a busy street, but close to city centre and the Tivoli themepark. Service is poor, for example on sunday the bar is closed, not even open for a coffee during daytime... If you just need a place to sleap and dont get annoteren by crowds and noise easily, I guess its ok.

Booked for 3 nights, moved out after 1. I have stayed in better appointed/cleaner Travelodges in the UK. A 4 star rating is seriously misrepresenting what this hotel is about. Really small rooms, poor standard of cleaning, generally in need of re decoration. requested housekeeping to clean sink, never turned up. Staff on desk are nice and deal with complaints as best they can, appear use to being questioned over thier 4 star rating. To give credit, breakfast enjoyable and tasty. BUT for the price so many more better options in Copenhagen, I personally do not consider it a 4 star experience, nor would ever re visit.

Room Tip: nice breakfast. Staff are used to complaints so handle them well.

The location for this hotel is great. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to it from the train station and it would not be necessary to take a taxi. The front desk person (Karin) was extremely personable and helpful. She remebered my name each morning and made me feel like I was important to them (although the room changed that). However, not everything about the hotel was to my liking. The room was small and the bathroom smelled of sewage. A colleague of mine that stayed in another room in the same hotel had the same observation. Although the room has a coffee maker, it only had one packet of instant coffee that I used the first morning and they never brought any replacements for the next two days. The bath toiletries were not replaced when I used them until the third morning and I had to ration them the second day. My room looked out over the exterior courtyard and I heard skateboarders late into the night and garbage removal early in the morning. I was happy to check out and move to another hotel after three days.

Room Tip: Ask for a room looking into the interior courtyard.

We did not even check in at this hotel because we had made a mistake when we make the booking and wanted to change it from 2 nights to 1 night and move booking a day. We could change the booking to one night but they would still be paid for two nights even though we wasn't abel to stay.
Both, my boyfriend and I, were scolded on the phone and was told that they preferred that we stay away because they would get their money anyway because the course had our credit card information.
Never have people talked so ugly to me (and for no reason)
you can not even call it bad service because there was certainly no service to it.

I would never recommend anyone to use this hotel.
Service does not exist and for them it's all about getting hold of your money in one way or another!

Room Tip: do not select a room here, but find another hotel there are many others on vesterbro.
