“Excellent Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2011

Excellent hotel, as always with Marriott.

The rooms are large and clean, the beds are incredibly confortable, the staff is friendly, ... The only downside is the breakfast, no very good, and the resturant prices which are too high.

The hotel is not far from the city center (fifteen minutes walking) and from the train station (you can easily go on foot). It isby a canal so from the restaurant and some rooms you have beatiful views.I would remark the quality of the breakfast.
My room looks a bit old fashion, but it was funtional and the bed clothes are superb, and the cleanliness is good enough.
As a suggestion, free wi-fi and a more flexible restaurant timetable( I arrive at 11pm from a long travel and I cant dinner) would improve the hotel rating.

The Marriot Copenhagen is a lovely hotel situated in a superb location on the river, and is easily accesable from Central Staion.
The room we had was on the 7th floor with views across the city, however we found the traffic noise at night to be a little disturbing, and would recomend if you were to stay here request a room on the river side of the hotel. the bar and food is more than adequate in a hotel of this standard. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
One thing we found about Copenhagen is it is extreimely expensive, so be ware when going out for meals and ordering drinks. Apart fromt hat we had a lovely weekend in Denmark.

This is a typical Marriott, clean, helpful friendly staff and reasonable food. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely with great views over the river. The location is in a business area, so there is a bit of a walk or taxi ride to go anywhere. Would definitely stay again if I was going to Copenhagen

We spent 2 nights in a Deluxe double room. A clean, well-serviced hotel with spacious rooms and rich breakfast buffet.. You cannot expect luxury from this 5-star rated hotel but also no unpleasant surprises. Better than some other hotels from the same chain. Close to the main city attractions, walking distance to lots of eat-out options. If the price is right, I would stay there again.

Very good room standard - main issue, no coffee or tea facilities (growing problem in European hotels) - wanted to charge me DK50 a day to rent a kettle. Very good rooms and breakfast (tho struggled to cope with crowds on Sunday). I stayed for 4 nights. My rate well below rack rate -so was good value taking into account Danish prices. Would have liked a swimming pool, as is often available at hotels of this standard.
