“Only place to stay in Copenhagen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2010

Although it is an "american" hotel meaning that there is no european charm...i found it to be perfect place to stay in Copenhagen. The room had 2 queen beds and the bathroom was large. Try finding this type of room in Copenhagen. Yes, it was not cheap but well worth every penny. Nothing is cheap in Copenhagen!!

The hotel is located about 15 mins walk from the train station. The reception staff were friendly and efficent. We upgraded to a Waterfront room, this was definitely worth the extra money.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The bed was one of the best we have ever slept in.

We ate in the restaurant on one occassion, the food was nice at a reasonable price in comparison to local prices.

This is a very good hotel with extremely comfortable beds and good range of services. It's about a 10 min walk to the city centre. All in all a good choice. Breaksfast was good but no free WIFI.

Be careful on check-out. Staff tried to charge me for breakfast and accomodation though everything was prepaid. After that they gave me to sign wrong stay staytment. As usual they blocked a deposit on my account and I specifically asked them to unblock the deposit at check out. 10 days passed and the funds are still blocked. Staff of this hotel is genius, be careful with them. 4 faults in 3 minutes are to much...

We were just in the Marriott last weekend as we wanted to go to the christmas markets there and it was really really nice.
I asked initially for a room on a high level so we'd have good views and they put us on the executive level at no extra cost which was a definite bonus. The beds are so cosy and soft that we really struggled to get out of them. We had breakfast included in our rate which is a good idea as the food is great and there's a big selection and as Copenhagen is an expensive city it doubled up as breakfast and lunch which helped the budget and was served until 11am.
It's about a 5/10 minute walk from Tivoli and about 10/15 mins into town so not too far from the hub.

Copenhagen Marriott is a good choice for Copenhagen. You get standard Marriott service and room features. Location is good for getting to Tivoli, Stroget or business areas. The rooms facing the canal are the best. Recommend the executive floors as breakfast and happy hour are very good. Service is as expected in a Marriott property.
