Booked the hotel for one night before a cruise. The hotel was chaotic when we arrived, the excuse was that there was a Jazz Festival on in Copenhagen that weekend. The check-in desk looked more like the internet access area of a small hotel, the staff were not particularly helpful. We eventually got our room, we had booked an executive room.......what a joke it was small and uncomfortably modern with two chairs bought for looks not comfort, the writing desk area and wardrobe looked like a kitchen unit, all ultra trendy but not functionable. No airconditioning (being fitted over the coming year) do check before you book otherwise you will have to open the windows and the noise is dreadful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here for a week-end and really enjoyed the design of the rooms. Although it was a bit on the small side and there is no minibar or fridge, the room was clean and comfortable for a short stay. The hotel is pretty central. There are 3 nice bars, including the Ice bar. Buffet breakfast is pretty good but the breakfast areas were packed on the week-end.

The only downside is that reception lobby is quite small for the size of the hotel and we had to wait quite a while to check out on the Sunday morning.

We loved Hotel 27!!! It is a hip & stylish hotel with a relaxed atmosphere & friendly helpful staff.

Our double room was small but perfectly formed; it had been cleverly designed to maximise the available space. Earplugs were provided - our room overlooked the central courtyard that could be very noisy at night when it became a bar with music. I guess it depends how early you go to bed!

We chose the tariiff that included continental breakfast & an early evening 'buffet' that offered a good ranges of hot & cold dishes. Hot drinks were always available from a push button dispenser on the ground floor.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 27 and felt at ease simply chilling in the reception areas.

“Good Hotel - but some problems during summer”

I have stayed at the hotel for almost half a dozen times before always on business. This time things have changed during summer time the rooms are unbearably warm and the noise level is way too high since there is a bar and some other party place across the street plus the noise from the tivoli that still manages to reach the room. The people from the bar stand outside smoking and the noiselevel dies down at 05.00am when the bar closes.

So if you book the hotel DO NOT take a front facing room.

The hotel in it self is small and nice with the RhumBar in the inner yard and the ice bar plus Honey Rider bar that brings in a little locals too (which always is nice)
Service is prompt and professional as I said I have stayed here before and will do so next week but NOT in the rooms facing the front!

It was our second stay at this hotel. Last time we stayed here, about two years ago, the hotel was in the middle of a renovation process. The renovation was now finished and the hotel looked much better and cooler this time. We had a tiny room with no air-conditioning, but the window could fortunately be opened so everything functioned OK. There was little space for the suitcases, though. However bigger rooms can be booked. The bathroom was also quite small, but very practical. The bed had a comfortable mattress so we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was fine, and in the afternoon there was a free buffet for the guests with lots of good stuff. Drinks were not included though. The wine tasting room has a fair selection of good wines, but it is a quite expensive experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated behind the town hall and close to the most important sights. Parking is possible under the hotel, but there is only space for about ten cars (€ 25 per day). Street parking is also possible in front of the hotel. We will probably stay here again the next time we go to Copenhagen.
