“Nice and cozy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

Good location, friendly and helpful owner. Occupies two floors in a residential building. Bus stop is located in 15 meters from hotel. Metro station 10min walk. Have a kitchen, free hot drinks and 7 min walk to get to Christiania:)

And for expensive Copenhagen this b and b is also very reasonably priced. Rooms are open and airy with comfortable beds; breakfast is good. Host seems well schooled and provides thoughtful conversation, especially in politics and world affairs.

Carsten, the owner, is an amazing person. He went beyond to ensure that I enjoyed my stay in this fabulous city. The B&B is situated on the 2nd and 4th floor (which here in the US is the 3rd and 5th floor). I stayed on the upper floor. My room was clean and the bathroom was kept clean at all times. The hot water and the water pressure was fabulous and I had access to the main kitchen anytime I needed something. Carsten's stories are fabulous and his knowledge of all things, is remarkable. I will absolutely come back to the B&B.

Make sure you have a back-up plan if you make a reservation here. Even if you book months in advance, this place does not process your credit card until right before you arrive. We found out that B&B’s policy is that if anything goes wrong with your credit card (even an innocent mistake on the part of the credit card company), B&B immediately, and without notifying you, cancels your reservation and tells you after the fact to look for another accommodation. If we didn’t have an iPhone with working wireless Internet that allowed us to quickly find another hotel when we arrived in Denmark, our trip would have been ruined. Because B&B only tries to process the transaction the day before you arrive, you will effectively be stranded if anything goes wrong.
