“delusione fish & chips”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2014

After a long search, we thought have found a good restaurant....unfortunately we arrived and they told us we have to wait for 1 hour. Ok we decided to eat outside , maybe it's worth it....
we ordered mussels and and fish and chips. Cold and flavourless mussels arrived and 1 piece of fish and 5 french fries . In the meantime the restaurant-bar had emptied and no reason for let waiting customers outside.
Total cost 500 dkk. : to avoid !!!

“Fresh seafood, fresh atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2014

Turned up without reservations but the staff were incredibly accommodating in finding us some space to eat. Amazing fine food experiences are generally coupled and associated with formal homogeneous atmospheres- there's a time and place for those but I for one am tired of them. This is a place which combines equally complex , intricate and fresh seafood dishes with a very chilled out buzz. Sitting outside on the tables with friendly strangers either there eating or drinking was a joy. You can continue drinking here once the kitchen closes too (or slide across to the bar next door). I wanted to try just the seafood akin to this region - Swedish Bleak roe, Blue mussels (small but full of flavour) and Brill. All of which were great and accompanied by typical interesting ingredients not irrelevant to the dish itself (mushrooms, moss, micro herbs etc). If I see Sea buckthorn on the menu in any form I'm likely to take it too - cocktails to desserts offered here in that particular season. A rare unknown berry worth trying.

Highly recommended.

“Excellent and very welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014 via mobile

Booked due to Lonely Planet recommendation. Fish dishes were wonderful and puddings a real treat. Staff were great at explaining in English, and made us feel very comfortable. Topped off by a visit to see the kitchen in action. Definitely a good evening, thank you to everyone.

“Delicious, but really small portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

My friend and I were there a week ago. It was a really great evening and the food was really delicious, the creations absolutely amazing. In the menu you have 3 types of sizes for the food. Unfortunaley the portions are really small. We shared 3 portions of medium sizes but in the end we were still hungry. Great wine menu, the service was really friendly. Our recommendation is to order the big sizes portions for a dinner.

“Great Food, Mediocre Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2014

The meal started off just fine. We showed up a little early for our reservation, no problem, they have a table for us. We sit and order in a reasonable amount of time, and the fish is fantastic. Over the course of the meal we are left alone/ignored for increasingly long periods of time - we watch as all the people around us (seated after we were) get dessert, then their checks, and leave while we wait, getting increasingly irritated at this army of servers who, while not seemingly all that busy, apparently don't have time for us. It's too bad, because the food really was wonderful.
