“Clean eating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

Great food, and very pure. Definitely worth a visit in Copenhagen. The Danish oysters are amazing, and the mussels were great too. We had a large group, so everyone had something different on the menu, but everyone seemed very pleased. Personally, I though the cod was great...simply cooked, with little seasoning. Some people would say too bland, but I thought it was great.

Definitely a great place to enjoy a night out with friends.

“Overrated and disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

We went to this restaurant that was recommended to us by several people. We enjoyed the decor and the "funky/hip" vibe of this restaurant. In the Meat Packing District. The food was very disappointing and very overrated. Really nothing to write home about, tiny bites on plates with drop pellets of sauces made with fun ingredients that you could hardly faster, the portions were so small. Oh, and did we mention way overpriced??
However, services was excellent and even though the hostess was not very pleasant, we ended up eating at the bar and enjoyed the service

“Fresh, delicious, casual, lively”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

This restaurant does not seem to need promoting at all anyway. Probably there will be a wait, if you love sea food, go there and wait. We did it with my 2 year old daughter, and I do not regret it.

It is located few minutes car ride outside the center. I mean city is already small, but you need to take a taxi to go and to come back. It is not located in a district where you can walk around. It is the meatpacking district where used to be a lot of fish and meet distribution centers.

Go slightly early, have a drink outside on sun chairs. Listen music and enjoy. Then go in for excellent seafood. We had oysters (freshest ever), king crab, mussels, and sole for my little one. All were delicious. Staff is very helpful, explains all in detail.

Atmoshpere is lively. Good music, vibe, beautiful people. Not very young as it is not a cheap place but not boringly quiet and stuffy either.

I would love to go back. Meanwhile, we sat at the bar, as there was no table available, my little one on my legs. It was a great dining experience.

“Cool outdoor seating, slow service but good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Located in what is called Kødbyen, this is a restaurant specialising in seafood. Oysters, mussels, crab, fish and chips and a lot of white fish.

You can sit outside in the summer. Like sitting on a parking lot, but still a trendy feel. Large tables with room for 8 people. To share.

Had mussels and fish and chips, both good. Water did not come with the wine, and you have to pay even for tap water. A bit surprising.

“Over rated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Great reviews got us Fiskebar. Very difficult to find by foot. The interior is rustic and the food was expensive and average except for the muscles. Service was very good, young and fun. No need to dress up.....very casual. Many other alternatives.
