“Classic style hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2013

Even though i live close to Copenhagen I enjoy to take a night over here. This hotel still has the 60's Arne Jacobsens style while being ok modern. The location is very central close to many attractions. I personaly like Kgs. Nytorv Area better but the view from this hotel is stunning. Use the opputunity to have dinner at Alberto K. Really good restaurant.

Stayed here for 2 weeks during a business trip. Rooms being clean and safe, did not feel uncomfortable for the long duration. Wifi works well.
TV has a speaker in the bathroom which is a nice touch. Only thing is TV has very few choices for English channels.
The welcome fruit, chocolates and wine was a really nice gesture.
Breakfast spread is decent, but for such a long duration as I stayed, it gets a bit monotonous with no change in the spread. Staff are quite decent and well mannered.
The views from the top floors are beautiful which ever side you face. I also liked the high speed lifts, din't have to wait at all inspite of being on the top floor.

fine for business as convenient and close to some sites (Tivoli Garden) but the modern appearance lacks the charm of some of the hotels in this city. Service was friendly but not necessarily attentive. Rooms were cleaned late in the day so do not expect to have your room done by noon when you return from a mornings outings. They use a private gym as the fitness center which means it is very busy in the mornings and evenings

Room Tip: avoid the rooms on the busy street side as the streetcars and buses make a lot of noise

First time ever in Copenhagen, good memories. The hotel is located in a street full of traffic, but it wasn't disturbing. I had my room on the 19th floor, and the view was amazing even if there was fog. You can see the Tivoli fun park and the train station with a huge clock (was very helpful :)) Bed was a bit too soft but I was satisfied in the morning. Room was clean, service friendly and breakfast quite okay.

Friendly helpful staff. On arrival my taxi's credit card machine didn't work so the receptionist paid the driver and just billed to my room - thank you! Have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it's always the same cleanliness and good service.

This was my second stay at the Radisson Blu Royal in Copenhagen, a hotel I chose mostly for its location but also due to the fact that I really enjoyed my stay last time. The hotel is located only a short walk from the central station and you can see Tivoli from the window. Last time I stayed at the hotel I was given a corner room with a huge bed and a big bathroom with a tub, something I felt was appropriate considering then rate being over 200€/night and that does not include breakfast, only wifi. This time they acknowledged that I was a returning guest and the girl at the reception was going to fix me a nice room according to her own words. So far I was happy. However, my happiness quickly turned into disappointment when I got to my room, which was right across the hall from the elevators, making it a bit noisy, and was about the size of a closet with a foldout sofa (and not a big one) made out as the bed. Never have I seen this before at a Radisson. The bathroom of my first room was bigger than the bedroom this time and the "bed" really didn't make me happy at all. Next time I might stay somewhere else, as to me it makes a rather big difference whether I know what I'm getting.

The winning point of the hotel is the location. In addition, the room was also spacious by european standards. We had a view of Tivoli from our room, although Tivoli was not yet opened during our stay in early November. Overall, room was spacious and clean. But my only complain was that the bed and pillows are way toooooooo soft.
