“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

Only 5 mins walk from central station makes this a great location. Sightseeing bus stops outside, tourist info across the road as is Tivoli Gardens.
We had a 16th floor room with great views, very quiet & comfortable. Spotless bathroom, spacious room.
We didn't have breakfast here so cannot comment.
As previous reports have mentioned there are a lot of road works in this area & many others due to the expansion of the metro but apart from crossing the roads they didn't affect our stay.

This hotel is only 5 mins walk from the train station.

The reception staff are efficient and keen to provide suggestions.

The room itself was a bit sparse and lacking all the comforts you often find in a hotel of this standard, although the views of Copenhagen made up for it. from the window were pretty

I just spent 5 nights here. It was my second time at this hotel. The reason I come back to this one over the other hotels in CPH is the great location. Right across from Tivoli, a block or 2 from the Stroget, easy walking distance to Nyhavn.

My 11th floor room was spacious and clean. The heated towel rack is a nice touch. Great view of Tivoli. HOHO bus stop on the corner.

Breakfast buffet is excellent, with great fresh fruit. You can order omelettes or waffles as well.

Check-in and out was quick and painless.

We stayed 3 nights in a corner Royal Club room. The hotel has a good central location by the train station and Tivoli Gardens. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The hotel lobby and room was Classic Danish modern style, the room was clean & spacious, and the large bathroom was well appointed (although it lacked a magnifying mirror for shaving). The room and bathroom had long stretches of windows, providing great views of Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen. Breakfast (included for Royal Club) was bountiful with an ample hot & cold selection. We didn't try the fitness club or Albert K restaurant, so can't comment. Business center had 2 computers and printers. WiFi in the room worked fine. Biggest negative was that just inside the hallway door was a connecting door to the neighboring room. We heard every time the neighbors came & went next door.

Used the free tripadvisor mobile app (with offline gps) to navigate the city and check for restaurant locations and reviews. Very helpful!

Room Tip: Royal Club 11 line gets a view of both the Tivoli Gardens and much of the city.

Great central location for Tivoli gardens and other attractions.Had one of the 16th floor rooms which was quiet, clean and tidy with a low but comfy bed.Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good but a bit hectic on the Sunday morning of our visit with staff struggling to keep up.The lounge bar was open plan but had a friendly relaxed atmosphere and seemed to be popular amongst guests. Very enjoyable stay.

Radisson BLU Royal hotel is a fantastic design hotel just opposite Tivoli and near to "Strøget".
The room was very nice and large. On the tenth floor - beautiful view. Nice bathroom and a good air condition.
We paid 35 US dollar for one breakfast per person, and had expectations! Disappointing - the trays were not filled up when they became empty. No orange juice on any of the days. The soft boiled eggs were raw one of the days, no bacon, no scrambled eggs left. They forgot to give us coffe util we finally made contact with someone from the staff. The tables were not emptied during the meal. When they cleaned up after the guests left, they used the same cloth on many tables - no soap. The crumbles were just pushed on the carpet floor, which became quite dirty. Not very hygienic. When it came to cleaning the room, this was neither up to expected standard. The bathroom floor was not cleaned, the waste bins were not emptied. We looked for the remote for quite a while before we found it under the blanket. So, next time we will go back to the Marriot again.

Back in time in Scandinavian design, straight lines, light colours. Fantastic view of Copenhagen from the 11th floor and the breakfast on the 20th! Somewhat "thin" walls and a feeling of the inside of a ship in hallways but all in all a very nice stay!
