“Great view from the 18th floor room!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Our stay was for two nights. The room we upgraded and it is fine. Comfy, clean and coffee machine, makes tea too! The bathtub is large enough to relax, and the bath salts a nice touch. The staff have been fine and our needs met. The check in was a bit dicey as there was a line and only two people working. Breakfast was fine and many choices. We had dinner last night at the Blue Elephant...and loved it! Tonight...the Japanese place here in the hotel. We are pleased with this hotel and have enjoyed our stay!

Stayed for couple of nights. First room was in general ok however the Wi-Fi reception was very poor. The bathroom had an sewage odour to it. We changed to an allergy room the next day which was better but a bit weird from the interior design perspective (a round tower in the room where the TV was integrated). Great view out the room window from the 25th floor.

On our first night we went for drinks to the bar (25th floor). I have to say that they murdered my mojito, it was a disaster!

The location is good IF you enjoy a little walking. It's about 15 minutes on foot to the city centre.

Hotel is clean and the food is quite good. This cannot be said of the staff. The concierge totally ignored us standing right in front of him for at least ten minutes. The check in leaves a lot to be desired. They have little kiosks and the check in clerk just ignored us until I went up to him to see if we could check in and he said "you were just standing there so I was waiting for you to approach". The 25th floor dining food is good but the service is very, very slow. Rooms are nice but average.

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the lake/park and on a higher floor.

Stayed here for a week in the winter of 2010 on a business programme. It was well maintained with a nice bar to go with it. The restaurant at the top has one of the best meals Iv ever eaten. The rooms could be a bit more spacious and they could do with a free bottle of watter and newspaper.

The city is walking distance though it makes for a great morning walk next to the lake and mini forest. Perfect business hotel with well located meeting rooms.

Room Tip: Ensure it faces the side away from the entrance, towards the city centre/lake.

I visited Copenhagen for a business congress
Hotel was selected by congress organizers
Location is good : close to city center and also airport (but then , Copenhagen is a small city )
Hotel is old (only top floors are renovated) , I came with the expectation of the Radisson hotels I've stayed in Central East Europe (Istanbul or Bucharest) , but then , those are new buildings developed by real estate companies which invested a lot.
This hotel still needs a lot of money to renovate rooms, lobby area, etc.
However, even I slept in a old non renovated room , it was clean and OK .
Bit too expensive although , even if congress participants were granted a special rate (actually i suspect they gave us a higher rate >>>>)
The city is special by all means, it impressed me a lot , great combination of modern scandinavian design with old architecture.
Truly worth to visit - Opera house, canal ship cruise, old downtown near royal palace.

If you have the money , try to get a table at Noma , the most acclaimed restaurant worldwide...don't be fooled by the story with 6 months advance reservation (actually someone got the table 48 hours in advance)....

Stayed at this hotel for 2 night. Swift check-in and friendly staff. The hotels location is only a 15 min walk from downtown, or a 5 min taxi ride. The location and affordable rates makes this a great choice. The hotel is a bit old but they have done some renovations. The staff is overall very friendly, how ever the check-out was very cold and no services with a smile was present. Beware that due to the size of the hotel you may have to cue for both check-in, check-out and luggage storage. The rooms are large and spacious by European measurements. Housekeeping takes good care of the cleaning.
I would definitely consider to stay here on my next visit to Copenhagen.

Room Tip: Book a business room and ask for higher floor room with a view towards the city.

Just returned from a business trip where I stayed for 2 nights on the 7th floor, newly renovated rooms. One good thing about hotel is you can still open the windows to get fresh air... the wireless reception in the room is however very poor, unless you sit or stand right next to the door which is not ideal for taking business calls. Good comfortable sleep in the room however and cleaniness good :) A 10-15 minute walk from the City Hall and main city centre, but a nice walk all the same. Friendly staff at reception who were very willing to help.

Room Tip: Ask for room away from the lifts :)
