The fairly new Bella Sky is much talked about for its radical architecture. However, on the inside, disappointment await for all who expect to find a modern 5* design hotel.
The Comwell-chain has created a no-frills, austere and cold “conference” hotel with narrow corridors and only spots of design-work in communal spaces to give you an impression of being a 5* whereas it in reality is a modern 3* hotel.
During my stay, I had one of the better rooms on a high floor (called "XXL Corner" category.
Here is the run-down list of positive reasons for choosing the hotel (for business stays):
-- Quick check-in/out
-- Quick room service
-- Close to the airport
-- Good and free internett access
-- Good pay-TV
Here are the negative reasons that will lead, at least me, to choose another hotel next time:
-- No proper desk to work on; only a narrow "plank" for lack of a better word
-- Horribly uncomfortable sofa and chair
-- Lousy housekeeping (old "beer stains" on tables and visible dust around on the floor)
-- Cold floor with no carpets
-- Low-frill room with paper cups, no bathrobe etc or and low-quality bath products
-- Cheap and uncomfortable bed and "deflated" pillows
-- Far outside the city center
For non-business stays, I would not choose the hotel either: it's a high-price option far outside the city center, which offers very little for families with children and absolutely nothing for couples on a romantic stay. It's a typical, modern "conference hotel" that caters to large groups and non-individual, no-frill service.
If you do end up at the hotel, I would recommend that you choose a high floor room and stay in tower...

The sofa that you refer to is designed by Finn Juhl, and even if designer furniture may be uncomfortable to sit in, it gives the room a spot of design-work, that is outside the communal spaces.
The old “beer stains” on the night table is because of the surface material on the table. We have been looking into different solutions, but the only solution is to replace them as we go.
The rooms in tower 1 have wooden floors, whilst you will find carpet on the floors in the rooms of tower 2. Tower 1 is an obvious choice for people with allergies. Make sure to mention this when you book your room.
We have deluxe Hästens beds in all of our Sky, Corner and Bella Donna rooms.
The hotel is only 5 metro stops from the city center, approximately a 10-minute ride every 3-4 minutes.
For the romantic couples we will recommend a spa stay with a wonderful massage and access to our Aqua Spa (includes bath robes in your room). It should be followed by a romantic dinner in our classical The Balcony Restaurant and topped off with drinks in the Sky Bar. Up there you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Copenhagen skyline.
