The Hotel turned out to be a very enjoyable stay, despite the somewhat inflated prices -- caused not only by visitors to Tivoli Gardens but also the influx of overseas guests for Copenhagen's "International Fashion Week". We had an infant with us, and Reception kindly accorded us early Check-in (instead of 3 pm). This alone made us very happy with the Hotel, even though the building's finishing work appears to be ongoing. This we learnt when workmen surprised us one afternoon by requesting that they be allowed to do some unfinished carpentry work in both our rooms! The Shuttle Bus to and from Tivoli Gardens was useful. Note however that it starts operating at 11 am, coinciding with the opening time of the Gardens, and ends just before Midnight or thereabouts. The walk from the Hotel to the Gardens takes about 10-15 minutes. There is a Supermarket described as "within walking distance" of the Hotel. But making our way there turned out to be very frustrating and taxing indeed: having to cross a busy Highway, then trying to find the Supermarket 's exact location and Entrance in the absence of any helpful signs and directions.
