“If you are in the area worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

we stayed at the nearby Copenhagen Strand Hotel and this Italian restaurant was a 3 minute walk away from the hotel towards Nyhaven. as it was dinner we ate inside\ downstairs but it does have some tables outside overlooking the water.
The service was friendly - tables a little close together (but as it was only half full we spread out and so was not too bad). The food was okay for starters and main courses (Such as Rabbit, Pulled Pork, Pasta, Green salads etc. - No Pizzas) and works on a fixed price short menu for 2 or 3 courses. Wines were good although as someone says, £40 for a standard bottle of Merlot is steep! For the 2 of us a 3-courses and a bottle of wine came to 800 Ks (About £100), so not cheap but reasonable by Copenhagen standard.
Puddings were a disappointment and I would not bother - stick to the 2-course.
We found the waiters very friendly and relaxing - not stuffy at all.
If I was in the area I would visit again for lunch or dinner but not go out of my way to pay a special visit.

“The waiters were a little cocky ...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

A very well situated restaurant with a nice view to the harbor. The setting is nice and updated and the food is okay without leaving a greater impression. The wines were very good - and expensive, but it was an annoying feature that the waiters were too cocky - a little too fresh if you know what I mean.
I'm rather sure that one of them even complained about the amount of the tip (which by the way is not an obligation) by being a little sarcastic.
So we left with a little bad taste.

“A pleasant surprise near our hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

If you are near the Nyhavn area, this place a bit away from the cafes that line the canal had really good Italian food with a fixed price dinner. Hard to beat the quality and price in this city.

“Terrific”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

We ate here a couple of weeks back and it was terrific! Staff was very friendly and they do have menus in English if you ask. The food was some of the best we had on this trip. They have the best spaghetti and meatballs I've ever had. I don't know what they put in their tomato sauce but its insanely good. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food.

“Great food reasonably priced”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

The best meal we had in Nyhavn, an interesting menu using local fresh ingredients, take the time to walk a little further around the corner from the main canal to Tony's, well worth it.
