The apartment is centrally located, our room (no.7) was nicely furnished, but had only one tiny window pane that would open and had another cracked pane - as a result, it was quite warm. The bathroom nearest the front door was the best by far, although it had a huge amount of wasted space - easily could be converted to two full shower rooms and save waiting time. The shared areas were ok - the terrace could be wonderful, but it needs some proper furnishing; the kitchen area was ok with coffee and tea available free through the day.
On arrival, Carsten was in a hurry as he had to attend a meeting, so we thought that was the reason for his slightly cold manner, however, when we saw him around the guesthouse, he would not say "hi" but just turn away, which was a little odd for a guesthouse keeper. On leaving, his only words to me were "we haven't seen you very much" - not the expected "I hope you enjoyed your stay" or "have a safe journey" or "I hope to see you again".
I would stay here again, but don't expect the kind of warm welcome that I have experienced at other gay guesthouses.
