“Away from hustle bustle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

Good location if you want to stay away from hustle and bustle of central Copenhagen - both centre and airport easy to commute to. Concierge and reception very helpful friendly and nothing was too much trouble would stay here again ( didn't realise there was a spa here just saw on Internet ? )

I stopped at this hotel for 10 days mid-November 2012 on business after switching from a Scandic hotel due to issues. I'm glad I chose to switch as this is a nice hotel and is within walking distance of the Fields mall and the metro.

The hotel itself is well designed and clean in all areas, with very friendly staff who are always willing to help. The on-site facilities are also good (gym/bar/restaurant/club lounge) and so if you are there for a few days its not a bad choice.

There are only three bad points I have to this hotel.. Firstly is the price. It's not a cheap hotel by any means, and their food is somewhat overpriced (especially the buffet they do daily). While their food (both bar/restaurant and room-service) is good, I don't feel it is worth the cost. Secondly, to save energy they adjust the air pressure within the hotel (which means no opening windows). As a result, the air isn't the freshest (especially on high floors). This actually made sleeping somewhat difficult for me due to the high-than-average CO2 levels. Finally, the wireless signal seems to get weaker the further away you are from the lifts. I tried a couple of rooms on the edge of the building and the wireless was unusable due to signal strength. In the end I had to use a cable to get online.

Overall its a really nice hotel that while out of the city has great transport links and a large mall next door. If the air quality issue, the overall price of the hotel and the wireless coverage were sorted I would gladly give this hotel a 5* rating. Either way I am likely to stop there in the future :-)

Room Tip: If you want fresher air and/or don't like an air pressure difference stick to the lower rooms. W...

This hotel is close to the airport (not walking distance) but still you feel that you are in the middle of nowhere. I only stayed one night and therefore did not try the communications to downtown Copenhagen nor did I go to the nearby shopping mall, claimed to be one of the biggest in Scandinavia. Service was friendly, breakfast disappointing and the room was ok but didn't offer anything special.

This review is a year late, but nonetheless, here's my review!

PROS: Free shuttle service from airport (10 mins), free wifi, clean & spacious rooms, very close to the train, a mall nearby, friendly staff and free complimentary drink with Priority Club Rewards card.

CONS: $$$$

Overall a nice hotel and Copenhagen is a very nice country!

Don't let the fact that this hotel is not in the city centre put you off. it is actually so easy to get to the centre of town via the monorail or train. (The train and monorail station is practically next to the hotel).
Fields shopping centre is also close by so there is always something to do if you don't want to go into town.
Hotel itself is very modern with great staff and facilities. We had an executive room which was very spacious and modern. Access to the lounge was fantastic, with good breakfast and evening reception.
Concierge was ok, depending on who you get. Most are friendly but we had one where you had to squeeze information out of him.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Very easy shuttle service from the airport, there is a courtesy phone in baggage claim when you are ready for pick up. Short ride to the hotel which is easily the tallest building around. We had a beautiful view of the water from our room. We actually were able to get two adjoining rooms and open the door separating them which was nice for our family. The staff was helpful and even gave us tickets for the train into Copenhagen. The train is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel and is easily accessible. It takes about 10 minutes to actually get into the sightseeing part of Copenhagen. The only negative is that there are not any restaurants around except the hotel, so make sure you are prepared for that. We really enjoyed our stay here!
