“Typical Danish Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

Food was excellent and the service very good. Walking distance from Hotel Mercur. Enjoyable evening. Did want to charge for tap water though!

“Decent meal for traveller”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Frida's chef really know how to prepare a piece of beef and to use butter! I enjoyed my steak with season's potatoes and vegetables. I can recommend this restaurant if you want to eat danish cuisine in atmospheric restaurant.

“Can't Split Items, Cozy Place but Lousy Service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

While walking through Copenhagen with friends on our way back home, we decided to stop in this place to grab a bite. The menu looked reasonable from the outside, and I was drawn to the allure of a cute cozy place.

After being seated and greeted by the hostess, we started going through the menu. We were a party of five. Unfortunately, while 3 of us wanted to each order a main course, 2 wanted to split one course. We would have ordered drinks etc, but we noticed the big portions.

The hostess then stated that we couldn't split the meal. We tried to explain how we weren't that hungry and that we would pay extra, but she refused. After that conversation, we decided to eat elsewhere.

I'm a bit disheartened than even though there were five of us, she wouldn't let 2 people split one main course.

“Huge portions of traditional Danish food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

This restaurant is nothing spectacular, but serves up old-style Danish dishes in the largest portions I have seen in my life. The Wienerschnitzel is pretty good!

“Very Good x 2”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

Went across the road to the restaurant from my hotel on two occasions and the food was very good on both, and reasonably priced.
