“Beautiful room, central location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Can't imagine there is anywhere better to stay in Copenhagen. The room was fantastic (even the 'basic' room (14)), well kitted out with B&O iPod dock & TV. Bathroom had heated floor and excellent shower!
As small boutique hotel the facilities are limited (no spa, gym etc.) although you can use a local hotel for free for this.
Breakfast was excellent but the 'continental' breakfast is pretty limited, if you want anything cooked you have to pay extra, even for eggs etc.
Lights on hotel at night should just be clear as different colours make it look a bit tacky, Tivoli gardens were closed but looks like a theme park almost next to hotel so not sure whether that's a good thing or not when open!
In summary, if ever have to return to copenhagen would definitely stay here again, but far from the perfect hotel for the price.

Directly across from the Central Train Station, this hotel has a hidden personality behind it's quite distinctive facade. On entering, one leaves the busy street outside into an oasis of chic calm and friendly service. The front desk staff are so personable and enormously helpful; from checking in to restaurant reservations, arranging guided tours, drawing maps with salient information or just recommending fun things to do. Each room is individually decorated to an extremely high standard and one can ask for a fire to be lit in the charming fireplaces gracing all but one room. The rooms are spacious, relaxing and cozy. The bar(s) and eating spaces are trendy but never intimidating. The food is just splendid. And, the presentation is as beautiful as the floral displays in every corner of this hostelry. Go, go, go!

I booked this hotel for my husband birthday. It is a beautiful hotel with great service. We had a great room and we enjoyed the fireplace very much. However, the duvets were really small which disturbed a good night sleep.

The disappointing part was the breakfast. For such a luxurious hotel, you expect a great breakfast. However, only some basic breakfast was included in the room price and if you wish to have an English breakfast, you should pay for it.

Don’t forget to try the hotel restaurant. The food is really good.
Despite the small duvets and the shortcoming at the breakfast, we enjoyed our stay and I hope we go back on another occasion.

Of course, this hotel has eared some very high TA awards over the past years, but quite rightfully so. Upon arrival you see the hightech facade which puts you ij a ceratin ditection. But once you're in, and welcomed by aextremely friemdly staff, it soon becomes that this hotel is far more than any hotel. It is an experience. One side poses to a busy street opposite the station, the other side is Eastern palace which occupies a large part of the Tivoli gardens. The rooms are extraordinary, each one different, and sp well equipped, up to a great B&O audio outfit and TV. The hotel is very nicely decorated. The bars are great, the best of them all the huge "living room" with open fire and a great cocktail bar. This was a great experience!

Room Tip: Any room with tivoli view

We stayed for 5 days at Hotel Nimb. Our room had a rustic charm with lovely views over the Tivoli Gardens, which are especially magical at night. Service is friendly and efficient. The brasserie is great for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is great. Make sure you ask for your latte otherwise they will offer percolated coffee - yuk! The bar is a vast hall which serves great cocktails by the fire. A great place to catch up before dinner. A better choice than the Vinotek. Close to Christianborg Palace but a bit of a hike to see Crown Princess Mary at Amalienborg or shopping at Illums Bolighus. Thank goodness Copenhagen is flat! A great place to stay for any reason.

Excellent experience.
Elegant and charming.
Intimate feeling. quiet.
Large suite, personal with good view.
Aesop products.
Bang & Olufsen audio & television and Apple iPad in the room
Same style as SOHO London but a bit more upscale.
The best hotel in Copenhagen - no doubt!

Room Tip: room 6 (junior suite)
