“Take-away more important than sitting guests”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

While it took the poor staff, all rushed off their feet, 75 mins. to serve us, the food was flying out the door. Take-away is a great concept, but what about the house's guests? The approximately 50 guests sitting on hard chairs, in a poorly lit and very draughty restaurant? 75 mins. to have our food served and nearly one and a half hours to get a glass of water! The food was all right but not great. There are much better Thai restaurants in Copenhagen.

Run either a take-away or a restaurant but not both.

“Authentic food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

Very good, well prepared and authentic thai food with an nice cozy atmosphere added to it. On top of that the price level is very reasonable. Service is fast but careful and always with a smile even if the place is busy (which it is!)

“Great find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

Great little restaurant with friendly staff. Have been on several occasions and always has a good atmosphere. Advisable to book on weekends though as if often busy which can make it seem overcrowded at times, although this should not deter you.

Offer a couple of locally brewed "Ricemarket" beers which are definitely worth trying

Food is of a good standard and the portions generous. The price is reasonable for central Copenhagen and the quality of food with mains coming it at around 130-150 DKK

Definitely worth a try if you are looking for some decent Thai food in and around the city centre at an affordable price

“Good food, but a bit pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

We found this restaurant when randomly strolling around in central Copenhagen, semmed to be quite popular because it was almost full (on a Sunday night). The food was good but the price was a bit too high for a thai meal in my opinion.

The staff were a bit stressed and the atmosphere felt a bit crowded. However I would still recommend the place if you are looking for a good thai meal.

“Avoid sitting in one of their beds.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

This place is completely average in every way. The only thing that stood out was their own home brewed beers, which were very good.

We were six women (in our 20s-30s). The person organizing the evening reserved us two "beds," which are hard matresses enclosed in a canopy-like way with loads if pillows to lean back on. This sounded mildly intriguing like it could be fun to lounge around while one ate and drank. Unfortunately, it is a better idea in theory than In reality. It wan't very pleasant. We all wore dresses which made trying to be graceful while climbing up onto the bed impossible (thank god I was wearing underware). In addition the beds are NOT made for 3. The tray that sits in the center of the bed takes up so much room that once you get yourself seattled you're pretty much stuck there. There is no wiggle room. Also, you take off your shoes before enetering the bed. If you don't like looking at feet while you eat this may be a problem. Perhaps if you're on a date and your're both short and thin this arrangement may be fine.

As far as the food and service go, they were both totally average. The food is flavorful and the portions are on the large side. No one disliked anything but no one was raving about their food either. It would be helpful to have a hotness scale on the menu. 2 friends ordered scallops and one had to send it back as it was too spicy. The other friend LOVES super spicy food, so she was able to eat it, but she said it was almost too hot for her.

The service was Ok. We asked for water three times before they brought it and one "bed" got their food quite a bit before our other "bed," but beside that there were no issues.

We each had a starter and a main plus drinks, and with a 5-way split it was under 400kroner. So, it's a good value, but I'd avoid the bed and sit at a normal table.
