We traveled all around northern Europe with a 1 year old and a 3 year old, stopping at theme parks along the way. Legoland was the best park for our kids. This hotel though was the worst one we stayed at. It wasn't terrible, just very bare bones. The fold-out couch was too short to really sleep in - we had to put everything possible in the space between the back of the couch and the start of the mattress just to be able to have pillows there. The main bed was terrible for sleeping with young kids because the 2 mattresses roll apart - oops, the kids fell through the bed. No amenities in the room to speak of, other than free internet.
The restaurant was mediocre with extremely poor (slow) service. Good wine list though. Our second night there we just drove down the road to the grocery store and got snacks for dinner, rather than repeat the restaurant experience. The laundry was ok, but the instructions are confusing (in Danish, with only a little English translation). Our clothes came out of the wash dripping wet - apparently didn't set the spin cycle correctly? I was up to 2am waiting for them to dry - not fun.
The pool was very nice and clean, and the front desk staff was great - no complaints there. And for the money it wasn't bad overall - equivalent to a nice American motel. But for a hotel that is that close to Legoland, and presumably sees a lot of families with small children, the room itself wasn't very family friendly.
