“Nothing to see”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Seriously, they couldn't have made it any less boring and depressing... the watch is always slow and the cement used was supposed to resemble the simplicity of scandinavian design but ruined it for me (as someone interested in scandinavian design and architecture)... the garden behind is nice but nothing special. I recommend spend your time in other places and gardens in city and on your way out of city (on your way to train station) just have a glance and pass by...

“Ugly building, even worse on the inside”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

As a local I must say that there is absolutely nothing special and beautiful about this building. If you are an architect or alike you might find it interesting, but I would say that 9/10 of visitors would just pass it by and say "okay there is a awkward building". A lot of other buildings (including the University) have far more class.

“Awful dirty communist looking building”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

The interior and exterior of the building is a real eye-sore. Built in a grey 70's communist style architecture that makes one think of Russia in the 70's.

The interior of the structure is dirty as well. I'm not sure how this could even be categorized as an attraction

“New and Ugly”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

The new Town Hall was really quite ugly from the outside, and sleek scandanavian inside. Not worth the trip

“Bells”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Properly 60' archeture The building both in and out remindes of Alcatras...horrible! They moved a Jewish cemetary over the road(which is well worth a visit...if only to see the trees overtake the iron fence!) So on the top there a panoramic view of Aarhus and a lot of the surrounding countryside. Not to mention that there are 42 bells up there (which unfortunately Aarhus rarely use to thier full potential!)
