The redeeming feature of the hotel is the warm welcome from the chap on reception, who, seeing that we were tired and frazzled with a grumpy toddler after an awful journey let us get settled first and then pay.
Room very basic. Two long black hairs on the pillow and bed. Hopefully the cleaner's. sound insulation between rooms very bad. Probably because televisions are wall-mounted.
Price very high for what it is. I agree that it feels somewhere between a hostel and a hotel.
Can't comment on breakfast as we had to leave too early to benefit from it. I asked on check-in if we could have a breakfast bag to take away or something, but sadly not. Still had to pay for the breakfast we never had! At 795DKK, this was twice what I would pay in the UK and was only 100DKK cheaper than the Legoland hotel the night before (which had a fab breakfast!).
Be aware there are no dining facilities in the evenings - no room service, or hotel restaurant, which meant my partner had to go out foraging for a takeaway. Nice pizza from not too far away.
Reception not always staffed and seems there is no night porter. Had to sneak out of the back door due to early departure. Not sure this could be done if in a wheelchair, as we were directed to a door at the bottom of stairs.
Only just 3/5. If not for chap on reception, definite 2/5.
