“A hidden gem by far”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

This is without ne of the most enjoyable otel stays I have had for many years.
The hotel oozes atmosphere - extremely well maintained keeping a close eye on sticking with the hotels originis.
The staff was very attentive, super profesionel and you never really felt like you were at a hotel being a guest but more like visiting family.
I have no esitations in recommending this hotel for a stay be it for business, a romantic getaway or anything else.
P.S Food is fantastis

Room Tip: Any of the water iew rooms are great and most of the otels rooms are wateriews.

Pulled off the E20 for a hotel for the night and found this gem. Really a business hotel and pricey for an overnight stop but the position on the beach is great. Rooms large and bathroom exceptional and a view over the great bight and it's bridge. Very quiet nights sleep even with both windows open. Free wifi good. Evening meal excellent and service exceptional. Excellent spa. Would make a nice base for a beach holiday. Breakfast good but not up to a 4 star standard. Amazingly for a 4star business hotel no English language news channel on the TV in a country where no foreigner speaks the language.

Room Tip: Best view on Second floor. Balcony is extra but view worse.

This was my second stay at Hotel Hesselet.

This hotel has clearly been developed totally around the customer. The guest room is smartly laid-out with space for suitcases and clothes, as well as a cleverly designed bathroom where the wet areas are separated from the WC and washing area.

The bar is cosy and the restaurant offers food, wine and service at an international top level.

Breakfast buffet is a bit messy when the hotel is full, however, has all that is expected of hot and cold items.

New pool area with very cold water is a plus.

Great place to bring kids with a huge grass lane in front of the hotel, and the beach just a hundred metros from the hotel's grounds.

Assume it would also be a great location and quality for a conference away from the city.

I visited for business recently and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was interesting and beautifully presented. The rooms are spacious and well equipped - some have lovely views over the sea. I will come back if I am ever in this area again.

Everything was above expectations - professionel booking and understanding of the need for a business meeting with 90 people and 70 for dinner.
Especially the service minded people deserve to be acknowledge! Thanks
The meeting facility is outstanding, AW with BO equipment worked and everybody was happy.
Lovely rooms different from what you find at other "boring" hotels.

Room Tip: Get "a room with a view" to Storebælt

This hotel has got it all.
Luxury rooms with a marvelous see-view to the Big-betl bridge, one of the best restaurants, I ever experienced worldwide, and the very best service you can ask for.

Room Tip: I have stayed here several times, and I always got a superb room.

The Hotel Hesselet is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Fyn. Located right on the beach, this luxurious, but affordable hotel offers an indoor pool, great dining, lovely if simple rooms (but large bathrooms), and extras typically found in much more expensive hotels.

For example, the cost includes a sumptuous buffet breakfast, which had smoked salmon, all kinds of cheese, eggs, sausage, pastries, etc. Like a Ritz Carlton buffet!

The beach is beautiful, and the hotel staff very helpful - all English speaking too.
