“Finest and friendliest hotel in the Greek Islands”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

We have just returned 12th July from this hotel it was our third visit but will not be our last. The hotel manager Marina Provia and her staff are absolutely superb and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is absolutely spotless and the maids do a thorough cleaning job every day ,no shortcuts. We always choose room 209 but all of the seaview rooms have a fantastic view of Skopelos town and harbour. It is a spectacular sight in the morning with the sun shining on the houses on the hillside and the sea. If you want a shaded area the courtyard rooms are cool and sheltered. The breakfasts are excellent with the dining area also providing excellent views of the harbour and bay.
Unlike many hotels today you can always find a lounger or a chair with table and umbrella.
The hotel is approximately 5 mins from the town centre and there are numerous shops an restaurants where you can eat and enjoy fantastic views .

Overall this hotel is every thing anyone could ask for, ideally situated, spotless, friendly we cannot wait to visit again, what should really be a four star hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a seaview room, all rooms are excellent. Rooms on 2nd floor have no steps but a lift is avai...

We stayed for a week end of june at the aeolos and thought it was the best hotel in greece that we have stayed in. The rooms were spotless, the beds were comfy and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good as greek breakfast go with plenty of choice for all tastes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet hotel in an ideal location

We've booked this hotel from Expedia, after looking for something more than a bed and breakfast/ small apartment as is the norm in Greek islands. The hotel feels like brand new, which is true as it was completely renovated a few years ago. The rooms are of excellent quality (don't expect Marriott style mattress and pillows though) and certainly better than the average Greek bnb. We booked a sea view room, which is not truly factual- we had a view of the see but not as direct as I expected. However, siting at the balcony in the afternoon was incredibly relaxing and calm. It is within walking distance from the main town even though we ended up using our car for most of our transport. Thoroughly recommended, great value for money (£70 per night from Expedia) and I would visit again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Pick the sea view rooms

I choose this hotel from the Manos brochure and after consulting trip advisor reviews. I was not disappointed.
This hotel has a fantastic location facing the port and town beach. Just a short stroll into the main port area and most restaurants. You can see the hotel when you arrive on the ferry.
The hotel was spotlessly clean (I even did the finger test on the pictures in the corridor - no dust). The room we had was 205. This has a sea view and is on the same level as reception so no stairs. However there is a lift available if necessary for the other two floors.
The breakfast is very nice and there is tea, coffee, juice, yogurts, fruit, breads, cheese slices, meat slices, feta cheese, olives, spinach or cheese pie (wonderful), sliced bread you can toast etc. Every day there was also some egg dish (eggy bread, omelettes, fried egg boiled egg) and a couple of times in the week there was bacon. Breakfast is taken on the terrace overlooking the pool or in the restaurant.
The pool is cool but clean and a kiddies pool is attached. Although there were only a couple of children when we stayed - 1st week in July.
The sun was very hot on the balcony in the evenings but you can put the air con on if it gets too hot.
The beds were very comfy with sheets and a cover supplied. Extra pillows on request.
The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a genuine smile. It was my 50th birthday whilst I was there and the manager put a small bottle of wine in my room for my arrival.
Loads of cupboards and hanging space and an ample sized fridge also in the room. It has a typical Greek bathroom so you have to put your loo roll in a bin but this was cleaned every day.
There is also a large TV and internet room for your use. Internet was £8 for the week to connect to the Wi-Fi.
To summarise, I think this is a fantastic hotel and would have no hesitation to recommend it.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a sea view but there are also courtyard rooms which would be a little cooler.

We stayed at the Aeolos hotel in June this year. The position is perfect, close to town yet far enough away to be quiet.
The staff are friendly and professional, with the exception of the rude bar staff but the bars in town are lovely so no need to use the hotel bar.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with an arm chair (unusual for Greece)
Very pleasant stay and would go back.

Recently returned from a week in the Aelos Hotel, our first visit to Skopolos. I find it hard to believe that this Hotel is rated only 3 Star. The Hotel was spotlessly clean, and the Staff were friendly and helpful, and always had a smile for you. Although we did not have a Sea view room, we were perfectly happy in a room located in a very pretty Courtyard at the rear of the Hotel. The air conditioned room was spacious with plenty of storage and a good sized fridge.
Breakfast was good, although it was mainly Continental options.
The Hotel is well located for a short walk in to the beautiful Town, where there is an abundance of lovely places to eat and drink. The Pool area was comfortable with a pool bar for refreshments and food. This was a very enjoyable Holiday, we would return here.

Room Tip: Rooms in the Courtyard are cooler as the corridors are shaded. Also they have windows in the Bath...

Have had a lovely stay in the Aeolos hotel. Very good location to walk into Skopelos town where there are some lovely tavernas to visit. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and as most people have said in their reviews the hotel is very clean and comfortable.

The breakfasts were a bit of a disappointment, the hot water for tea was just about luke warm and coffee not brilliant. However, the staff and the accommodation made our stay very enjoyable. Good location to tour around the island and car hire is very reasonable.

Room Tip: Would ask for a sea room, but make sure it is on the higher floors. We had a ground floor room but...
