“Well worth the money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

My boyfriend and I just came back from Skopelos and Adrina Resort & Spa where we stayed for two weeks. What a place! We've been to Skopelos a couple of times now, but this was our first stay at Adrina. Great hotel, fantastic location with a privat beach and just 5 min. walk from Milia beach and Panormos. Rooms are big, light and clean. The staff is friendly. There is nothing they can't help you with. The pool area is amazing and so are the restaurants. Breakfast is great with fresh orange juice and fruits. It's well worth the money and probably the best hotel on the island. We will be back for sure!

I just recently had my wedding at the Adrina Resort and Spa and I can't say enough about how magical this place is. I stumbled upon it while on the Web and to be honest was a bit nervous about planning a wedding from the US without having ever been to Skopelos or the Adrina Hotels. The Resort looked stunning in the photos but what really sealed the deal was the amazing hospitality from the family that runs the hotel. The Rodopolous family, and in particular Paikos, was so kind and went out of his way to help me plan the wedding of my dreams. It is rare that you find someone that is so passionate about their work and genuinely goes out of their way to make you happy. So thank you again to Paikos and the Rodopolous family for making my wedding perfect, and an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life.

If you want to go to an beautifully designed hotel, tucked away from tourists with views to die for, and great customer service that comes from love, then you should go to the Adrina Resort and Spa in Skopelos.

Our holiday at the Adrina Resort was superb. The staff from the reception to the staff cleaning our room were so friendly and always smiling -nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and a view that dreams are made of. We enjoyed the amazing private beach of the hotel. Special mention of Izmini, the receptionist in the evenings - what a lovely person - always ready to help and have an interesting chat - I really enjoyed our little chats - wishing all the best!!! We would love to come back in the not too distant future - your hotel is superb and the Island of Skopelos is spectacular!!!!! Wishing Adrina Resort continued success and good health to all!!!! We returned home ready to face the bustling world.

Others have already written about the beauty and style of the resort ... everything on that count is perfectly true and can only be appreciated when experienced with all six senses, on site.

What I would like to talk about is how the Rodopoulos family who own and manage the resort bring that secret sauce of a "passion for excellence" to the entire experience of a destination wedding.

My daughter happened upon the Adrina Resort purely though research on the web. There are actually two sister hotels, the Adrina Beach and the Adrina Resort. Adrian Beach is the older hotel which the Rodopoulos famiy have operated for more than 20 years. The Adrina Resort is their new modern masterpiece that has been open for only 2 years.

The website looked great ...but websites always do. Having already a Santorini wedding experience under our belt for our older daughter, we had few illusions about the complexities of transatlantic wedding coordination. So when we first started the dialogue with Paikos, one of the two brothers who run the Adrina Resort, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that he would be happy to help as "coordinator" for the wedding...and he did he coordinate! The florist, make up, transportation and even working with the priest, all was handled by Paikos who seemed to be on a sleepless schedule. Emails were responded to at all hours of the day with emails or Skype calls from Nov 2012 to the day we actually arrived on June 19th, 2013.

That was the first day we met this extraordinary 36 year old young man who, we discovered, literally slept only when he had the time. Along with his brother, Yanno and his parents, this family almost became and extension of our family, working tirelessly to make the wedding four days later absolutely perfect. Any issue was resolved, last minute changes were accommodated, even those that made things more difficult. No detail was too small.

Their "secret sauce," this passion for excellence, made what is already a wonderous experience, extraordinary, and we are in their debt. For those who have experienced Greek Island tourism (we are 30 year veterans), often the captivating scenery makes one forget about the mixed levels of service and quality. Here you have the complete package.

So, anyone considering a wedding in Greece and wants to get away from the commercial overload of the more known islands, we would whole heartedly recommend the Adrina Resort and the dedication of the owners....and also the still relatively undiscovered Skopelos.

Myself and my husband stayed at the Adrian resort for a week only and we were left wishing for a few more days in this little paradise.
After a very apprehensive landing in Skiathos (although very safe) we caught the flying cat to Glossa and a taxi to the hotel. In all it took no longer then 1h 30m.
At the resort we were shown to our lovely bright and clean room with the most outstanding view in to the Adrina beach and Panormos bay. Although our room had twin beds the housekeeping staff turn it in to the most comfortable double bed with a great choice of pillows. Can't fault them, they always cleaned our room in the mornings and also made sure we had enough beach towels.
Breakfast is until 11am which meant that one could always have a lie in. The variety of food was amazing and the eggs are great, made in which ever way you wish. Also make sure you have the freshly squeezed orange juice!
The Adrina beach was just beautiful, amazing crystal clear waters and very refreshing. They offer some water activities but they are mainly used by the children. There is a beach bar but if you feeling lazy as we did most of the time you can just easily press the buzzer under your beach umbrella and within a few minutes someone will come to you ready to take your order. Everyone is very happy to help.
We spend most of the nights in the Adrina Beach, the sister hotel. After dining one night in our own restaurant we had no doubt that the sister restaurant was a lot better managed and the choice of food was excellent. I would like to say a big thank you to Julie, kerini and Stathis for making our evenings so lovely and going the extra mile to make sure our meals were cook just as we liked it. Also would like to say a big thank you to Ismini at Adrina Resort, at reception, that organise our journey back to Skiathos and also made sure that we were happy with everything through out the holiday.
If anyone has any doubt and are concerned about the journey and how to get there don't! This is definitely the place for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday with the your loved ones.
Ps make sure you take insect repellent!!

We have just got back from a wonderful two week stay in this amazing hotel. And i have to say even though i have stayed at many of the top hotels in London and Dubai, this is the place i would always want to return to. What makes it so special apart from the fact it is by far the most luxurious hotel on this beautiful island, is that it is owned and run by a family who genuinely care about their guests!

The hotel itself is stunning, it is finished in the modernist simple style that to me works very well in blending it in with the utterly stunning location. The simple clean architecture and design of the hotel and the beautiful views makes you feel like you are somewhere in the world that should be far more expensive than it is.

We booked one of the villas, and our rooms were very big and bright and fresh, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Air conditioning was great, and bathrooms were very cool. I am not sure about the other rooms, but i would definitely encourage guests to spend that little bit more to get one of the villas, as you get a great patio area that gives you just about the best views of the island.

Some people have mentioned there being a lot of steps down and up, which is true, however this is always going to be the play off for having such a beautiful view, and i dont really see it being a problem at all, as they have a very good lift offering panoramic views to take you to each level of the hotel including the beach.

The private beach itself is fantastic, with great deck chairs and canopies.

Food in the restaurant is very good, and service is very friendly. We did go out to the town for a couple of nights to some very well recommended tavernas, however did not find them any better than the food in the hotel. In another review it is mentioned that people sometimes pull up in their boats and swim over to the restaurant in the hotel to eat. And i can testify that i actually saw this happen myself, which i thought was a pretty nice touch!

The reception area is absolutely stunning, and honestly the best i have ever seen. It really highlights what the hotel is all about. The panoramic views from up there are just breathtaking! There is a bar up there but it wasnt open during our stay, im not sure if it opens later in season, but if not, then a note to the owners is "PLEASE GET THIS BAR OPEN!!!" if they did open, it would make it the undisputed best place on the whole island to sit and have a cocktail whilst watching the sun go down over the mountains!

As mentioned at the start, for me what makes the difference in this hotel is that the owners really do care about their guests. This was highlighted to us by an incident at the hotel we experienced. It was a very small issue, and really just a misunderstanding, but when we mentioned it to the owner, he really did go out of his way to ensure that it was resolved and that we were left more than happy, not because he felt he had to but because he was genuinely upset that we may be unhappy! absolutely fantastic service!!! And to me that is what makes this hotel so special, it is a little bit of paradise with a very kind and caring service.

Totally recommended and i cant wait to go back!!!

Our family of four spent 3 nights at Adrina!! We booked a 1 bedroom 2 level villa. We were breath taken and smitten from the second we stepped out of the beautiful reception and witnessed the most glorious view! Our shock at the sheer beauty had almost calmed when we arrived at villa! Here we were taken aback at the size of the accommodation, the finishes, the luxury and the privacy! Every step, every corner, every view was better than before! We spent four idyllic days starting with a fantastic breakfast, lazing on the beach, swimming in the clear azure sea, snacking, eating an amazing selection of Greek food and being looked after by excellent service, very friendly staff and even more friendly owners!! We walked to Adrina's sister hotel for a change of scenery which offered more good food. We walked down to the village to explore!! it was the shortest dream possible and that was our only regret!! We definitely intend to go back every summer!
