“A love affair with Greece.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

This is late in coming! I was there in September 2012, and absolutely loved it. I was alone 'sans' husband, and they made my stay special. Fantastic views, terrific swimming with ladder into the deep blue sea, and complete isolation among the pines. Breakfasts terrific, with fresh juice, lovely peaches, and great buffet. The little taverna overlooking the water was great, and the rooms very comfortable. Do choose the renovated rooms with newer bathrooms. I loved every minute, and walked down into town each day. Lovely village, and quiet unspoiled island, although I stayed in September, which was after the holidays. We are going back again, this time with husband. The best thing is the isolation and the swimming.

Room Tip: Choose the newer rooms, although they all have views. All rooms have lift to the beach, which is a g...

Besides the beautiful view,a strategic location (a small gulf) and some of the staff, the hotel is not worth its price. With the same amount someone can stay in a tropical island for more days with a real luxurious treatment towards the guests.
Except from two-three people from the staff, everybody else was treating us very snobbish (especially the front desk). The buffet staff rarely says "good morning" to the guests. Since we went on the last 10 days of the summer season, to avoid summer traffic, they treated us like we forced them to keep it open for us, while there were a few guests left (if they wanted to close it, they could just simply not take anymore bookings...simple as that). So, they had already closed down the roof restaurant and kept open only the beach bar/restaurant with a very poor selection of, lets say, gourmet dishes (frozen calamaris etc) that closed at six in the evening. If we were hungry later, there were only snack dishes available (like club sandwiches etc) from the roof bar. So we were forced to take a taxi every single evening to go to the closest restaurant.
The music from the beach restaurant, reached our room, on the last floor.
The music on the beach was too loud to relax.
The luxury hotel room pictures that they have on their page, are only a few rooms of the hotel. The are the few renovated rooms that they have. The rest is still is 70ies mode.
Our room had ants and we asked from three people in the staff to do something about it. In the end we had to take the spray ourselves from the front desk and spray the room.
And last, but not least, we booked a room for three, But everything in the room was per two... two bathrobes, two water bottles every time they refilled our mini fridge, and only the double bed had coco-mat mattresses (as they keep advertising it in their internet page) so I slept on a normal mattress. The money for it is not worth it. If you want a warm and REAL LUXURIOUS hotel, then this is NOT the right one for you.
P.S. The last day before our check out, the cleaning lady unlocked our door without knocking, while we were still in. CHEERS..

Stayed here for two days last August with my wife, having spent the previous 4 days at Poros Image hotel. Although we definitely enjoyed our stay at Poros Image - I gave it too 5 points in my review - Sirene was of a superior class in every respect bar the view and location. The decorateur has done a great job and the whole hotel creates a feeling of relaxed luxury. The "boat style" bar at the top is alone worth a trip. And the deck downstairs by the sea is excellent for sunbathing and daydreaming. Breakfast was also excellent, and I struggle to find anything that disturbed me in this establishment. I would visit again without second thought.

Unique location , lost in a rich forest of pine trees, which are playfully flirting with the cool sea.! Entering the recently redecorated lobby on the 7th floor, you just lose your breath from the unspeakable view. The rooms are relatively small but all offer magnificent sea view and a superb sleep experience! Going down to zero level you can sunbathe on the wooden decks which provide nice dives into the turquoise sea waters. Cool lounge music along with the beach bar service create the perfect setting to spend part or all of your day there. Not to mention the white sails passing by, making you dream of the journey...

This hotel has the most amazing views and their facilties are breathtaking. From the top deck, shaped like a cruise ship, for drinks and dinner to the beach side Taverna and sunbathing deck offering deep water swimming, this is a hotel complex that has to be seen to be believed. The staff are friendly and accomodating and the Taverna offers lunch choices for everyone. There is waitress service onto the sun deck for those who want it and the resident DJ plays relaxation inducing chill out music. Prices are sightly higher than in the town but this is not surprising given the surroundings and you at no stage feel you are bing taken advantage of. This hotel is used by locals for swimming as the water is crystal clear and is perfect for snorkling.

Room Tip: Do swim off the sun deck - it is sublime!

This hotel has an amazing beach area with fantastic chilled out music being played all day long. Drinks and snacks are served on the deck by very attentive staff. The water is glorious for swimming and quality beach towels are provided. The rooms are relatively small (and bathrooms even smaller) but all with fantastic views and the only downside is that paying guests are not given preference over locals when it comes to attending the live entertainment evenings ... unless you are Greek of course! Yachts tie up to the hotel's pontoon to come and use the facilities which does tend to make the beach area quite crowded - particularly in August. To end on a positive note, a nice touch was the (free) chilled water served almost immediately as you sat down at your table in the taverna or in the bar area. The Reception staff are friendly and professional.

The hotel is amazing, service is superb!! the renovated rooms are great with a very comfortable bed and a pillow menu.. the best sleep I had for months. The rooftop restaurant with live greek music is what you expect to be in a Greek island. The taverna by the beach has great food, beach and the sea is fantastic! The music played by the dj at the beach makes the difference. The stuff at the reception, bar, taverna, restaurant, beach are so helpful! i would definitely come back to Sirene Blue Resort in Poros island.

Room Tip: Renovated double deluxe rooms
