“Can't get fresher food anywhere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

Based on trip advisor ratings we went to restaurant for dinner. Based on the owner's recommendations we ordered the tuna salad made with fresh tuna that the owner had fished himself! We also had pickled fish as an appetizer. Simply great. As a main course we had red mullets that was perfectly pan fried. Again fished by owner. Meal was delicious and proof that when you use fresh and quality ingredients simplicity truly is a beautiful thing.

“Fantastic family run taverna”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Came here on our first night of a flotilla holiday, we were moored 150m away and passed many tavernas before coming across Apagio's, attracted to this one by the number of people eating there. V warm welcome from Elizabeth and husband, Liz sat down and talked us through a lovely comprehensive menu, when she mentioned stuffed vine leaves told her we had had a bad experience on a previous Greek visit, we were convinced by her description of her had picked vine leaves from her own garden, she was right they were delicious, lamb in paper was equally as scrumptious. Lovely taverna run by genuinely friendly people, a great start to a wonderful holiday.

“Fun, friendly and fabulous food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

We really had a great time and some fantastic food in Apagio. It's one of those places that somehow captures your heart and makes you instantly feel good. The food here is truly amazing - but it's not just that what makes you like Apagio so much. You get a feeling that the family who runs it really loves the place and has put their hearts and souls into it. You can feel their warmth and friendliness and it's just special. There are not many places like that left in Greece but Apagio is like that. A true gem. Go there. You will not regret it.

“Best food in Poros!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

Dined here once in Poros; would have done more - if I'd found it earlier during my stay.
I had 'Lamb in paper,' which was mouth watering, tender pieces of lamb & honey roasted vegetables served in foil; basically a nice little package of food!
A little bit pricey though!
